Sunway Pyramid: BoutiFU Spring Celebration with Po from Kung Fu Panda

Are you still in the New Year mood? Chinese New Year is coming soon, lets check out BoutiFU Spring Celebration with Po the Panda, you can visit Po's Village at Sunway Pyramid.

If you like KungFu Panda movie, you'll know of Po. The popular panda character from Kungfu Panda was searching for his village to celebrate the Lunar New Year!

As it turns out, it was all a Lunar New Year campaign by Sunway Pyramid. The popular shopping mall that I love to go with my family members and friends has transformed its Orange Concourse into a scene inspired from Kungfu Panda 3, the latest installment that features Po reunited with his family in the Panda Village.

I attended the launch in the evening on Tuesday.

Creative dough above, guess which is belong to me. The creative dough consists of panda, monkey, rabbit, snake, duck, frog, dog, pokemon, and others. Other activities at the party include fortune telling, calligraphy, and lucky draw.
Above on the right photo is my Chinese name written using calligraphy.

Lion Dance performance.

The party to celebrate Po finding the Panda Village was in full swing, with 38 children dressed in panda costumes and a huge "lousang" session with the invited guests.
Two weeks ago, Po was seeing going around the Kuala Lumpur city centre, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya and Shah Alam since the final week of December 2015. He was caught strolling at KL Tower, Zoo Negara, KL Bird Park, SS2 night market and the Kota Kemuning park amongst many other places.

Similar like the movie, the mall's BoutiFU Spring Lunar Year features the panda village nestled amidst the mountains, where a Chinese temple lies, surrounded by cherry blossom trees.

My first lou sang of the year with media and blogger friends.

Don't forget to check out the photo booth there because you can take pictures with Po's family, and print immediately as a souvenior.

Traditional Beard Candy and Ting Ting candy are easily found in the mall. This festive shopping can get hectic as we need to shop for ourselves and loved ones. We need to do many surveying and purchase in bulk, at Sunway Pyramid I have no worry as we can find over 900 shops to wander, the mall is a perfect choice for festive shopping and dining. Some shops I have visited recently, it would be the Endless Jewelry that you can shop for J Lo Collection, and Missha skincare/beauty range products from Korea.

As 2016 is the year of the Fire Monkey, the mall will be rewarding shoppers with adorable monkey flush toys. Throughout both duration, shoppers who spend RM250 and above (RM150 for HSBC cardholders) will be rewarded with JoyFU angpao packets.

Sunway Pyramid with endless options for shopping, dining and leisure. You can enjoy the Lion Dance performance every Sunday, as well as on both days of the Lunar New Year. The second day of the New Year will feature an Acrobatic Lion Dance show at the Main Entrance to bless the mall.

Chinese New Year performance@Subang Parade

Have you been to Subang Parade? They have two drums on the stage where people can go and play it. It is fun to see my boys playing the drums. My boy has the interest to play drum he's asking if there's any chance he learns to play drum in school, we'll see about that.

The other day we were in Subang Parade we ended up having McD for dinner because the Chinese restaurant fulled of people. I haven't got the chance to lousang with my family members. Anyway I am thinking to purchase one and do it at home.

Have you to any mall to see Chinese New Year performance? I know Sunway Pyramid has got the big ship and fishes in pond.
