Movie Review: Sinister 2 *not for weak heart*

Spoiler alert!

So fast it has been two years since I last watch Sinister, last night I watch Sinister 2 with my dear. 

The movie not suitable for children to watch, it's for 18 above only.

A mom who wants to protect her twins boys aged 9 years old Dylan and Zach. She and her boys stay's at a farm house home where she knew bad things had happened. Dylan can see many things but he's not telling his mom about it. He's been hiding his feeling towards her. Dylan was force to view documents of families murder. 

My dear and I got scare a few times while watching the movie. I believe not just us even the crowd in the cinema hall too.

Is the family of twins and their mom going to escape from being killed? Dylan and Zach's dad wanted the children back, he was abusive dad and Dylan is very scare of him. Zach is a big bully, he's always bully Dylan. 

In this movie you'll be seeing many ghosts child and shadows. 

After Sinister, now Sinister 2, the spooky man in the movie has never spook a word until now.

If you don't like to see blood, you'll not like this movie.

They are many rats and crocodile in the movie too. 

Also related to fishing trip, kitchen renovation, and many more.

Not going to spoil your mood to watch the movie, go ahead find out yourself.

Movie review: Godzilla 2014

Yesterday night was mother and son movie night. I won two premiere passes to watch Godzilla 2014. Son told me that this movie is the real Godzilla and the Godzilla 1998 was the dinosaur not Godzilla. 

Ford loses his mom when he was young, the day he try putting a birthday celebration for his dad. After 15 years, he has his very own family. He has a son and a wife. 

In Godzilla 2014, they are one Godzilla and two huge monster insect. The male has wings and it can fly, while the female without wings carried many eggs. It was the mating season for two insects. Guess where's the female choose to lay her eggs. Japan, San Francisco, Hawaii? 

They are fight between Godzilla and two monster insects. Who will win the fight? 

My son can't stop talking about the movie, even this morning.

The Other Woman is hilariuos

Yesterday a date with my girlfriend, yeah we head to TGV, 1 Utama to watch The Other Woman. 

First I like to ask if you are fan of Cameron Diaz, it's very nice to movie to watch. Another actress in the movie Nicky Minaj, she's like PA to Cameron Diaz.

Cameron Diaz as Carly Whitten, she is lawyer in the movie, she falls in love with a guy they have been dating for eight weeks. When she's about to bring him to meet up with her dad, things happened! Mark is a married man he loves many woman in his life. Mark love affairs' found out by his wife. Leslie Mann as his wife, she's been married to him since she's 24 years old. 

There's a big dog in this movie, it belongs to Leslie Mann. It's hilarious when the dog did something bad in the apartment of Carly Whitten, you gonna love it if you watch this movie. Leslie told Carly that her dog is just a puppy. :D

How are three women going to revenge the Mark? 

The movie is for 18 and above only.

Good laugh watch Rio 2

If you have watched Rio, you will know Blu, and Jewel. Rio 2, Blu and Jewel have got three kids. They have two daughters and a son. They are going for an adventure trip to Amazon find their find species of bird. They know of this from Tulio and Linda from the TV news.

Nigel is back in the movie for his revenge, a poison dart frog is in love with him. Nigel never gives up on his vengence against Blu.

In Amazon, there are illegal loggers that want to get rid of Tulio and Linda. Amazon, Blu has no idea what's over.

Will the family survive the Amazon?
Will Blu eaten by crocodiles?
Blu faces many challenges in Amazon...

My son and I have a good laugh watching Rio 2. You can see that he's happy seating at the red coach at TGV 1 Utama.

I laugh about Blu facing the spider and flying insect ....

Son told me that his favourite part of the movie, slow motion turtles high 5!

At night doing his homework, son wants me to play high 5 with him just like the turtles in the movie. 

Parking New Wing or Old Wing One Utama Shopping Mall

How often do you go to One Utama Shopping Mall? I'm always lost in the mall, I don't mean always but usually I do if I'm alone or with my son. It usually happened in the night after the movie at TGV Cinema. I saw the shutters near shop will closed. Which means only lift can be used, so there was time my son told me that we went the wrong floor for the parking I parked.

During the Guardian Makeover, I knew that the beauty event in Old Wing somehow I parked at New Wing. It's a good exercise to walk from New Wing to Old Wing 1 Utama if you know where to go. I asked the mall security guard at Basement 1 where I parked near the Caring shop.

Anyway I always used the signboard in the mall, to find the cinema.

Sometimes I miss the turn to go the traffic light to One Utama, I goes further to near Ikea side to turn into One Utama where there's car parking level to goes up. I am not sure what's floor should I be parking if I am going to TGV Cinema, do you?

Above my cute son whose happily watched Walking with Dinosaurs the movie in 3D Premiere screening last night. Just mother and son at TGV One Utama!

 

We spotted the dinosaur in the hall of TGV cinema but we didn't grab the chance to take a picture with it. :(

 

I was anxiously looking for the booth for collection of tickets that I won.

 

He's got the cute 3D glasses which is for children to wear. I think it's first time he has 3D children's glasses. We often received adult size 3D glasses.

 

It's good movie to let my son knows more about the type of dinosaurs.

Halls of Horror Movie Marathon@TGV Cinema

11 October is the night where we have a memorable night for the Halls of Horror Movie Marathon at TGV Cinema in Chill X, 1 Utama. First picture above is Mommy Jane and Me, second picture of Tammy the witch and Reggie with a knife on the head.

 

It is a memorable night for me, Jane and I have fun with the photo taking. Check out first photo of Jane and me.

 

I must say they have done a good job decorating the Chill X in 1 Utama. We feel comfortable and enjoy the food and drinks. I can never forget the yummy drink which taste like Oreo mint. Look at the hand in the soup, some friends were asking me whether it is a real hand. lol

 

We enjoy the movie the night and I am happy to watch the Insidious 1 and Insidious 2, if you haven't watch Insidious 1 do watch this so you can understand more about the movie for Insidious 2.

The Wolverine VS Conjuring movies

Yesterday I told you about the expired GSC Vouchers I won. Well, I must say both movies are not related but I can tell you I won both passes to watch both movies! Yes, both same night too. Oh boy, this is tough decision. This morning heading to school to wait for son and I was in the car. I listen to MIX FM and there goes the song Gangnam Style, DJ said after the song will be four tickets up for grab! Guess what?! I waited..

I then listen to Q to call and I called in and answered the question correctly and that's it I won! I didn't know the date of movie but I know it is The Wolverine. Both movie same night different type and different cinema.

Supposed I have set date with my friend to watch Conjuring, the horror movie based on true story. Now this The Wolverine where I can watch with my dear and son.

The last time I won from MIX FM was OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL!

DCM2, yellow minions and purple minions!

Yesterday the day mother and son night out. Yeah he loves to watch Despicable Me 2. I won the 3D Premiere Screening of DCM2, I didn't know it until we are entering the hall with the 3D glasses in hand. He's so happy you can see the above picture, this 3D glasses didn't give him a hard time. We can bring home the glasses after the movie.

How Gru going to save the world? All the cute minions in yellow colour, how they can changed to purple colour? Purple minions are meant and they eat anything! If you have seen Despicable Me you will know that Gru adopted three daughters. Gru supposed to be spy in a mall to find out who is the new super-villain who has stolen a research laboratory that can turn the chemical to killing machines. No kidding just one injection to yellow minions, they instantly changed to purple with crooked teeth and messy hair!

Find out how Gru finally met someone special in this movie, Gru and Lucy they are the perfect match for one another.

I am glad son's enjoy the movie from start to the end. Thank you ChurpChurp.

Saturday fun@TGV Beanieplex Birthday Bash with Tammy

How did you spend your last weekend? I have a blast one with my son at TGV Beanieplex Birthday Bash with Tammy. I am one of the 19 winners to win a pair of movie pass to watch Man of Steel. I have been following Tamm's blog it is Plus Size Kitten Beauty Blogger for many years.

It is mother and son day out, yeah just the two of us, we are excited and he puts on his Superman's shirt and red cape! I handmade the red cape of my own few days before the big day. Yes the big day to watch Man of Steel. It is our first time to join movie party and we love it. Son's can't wait to get start with the TGV free popcorn and Pepsi. Look how comfortable he is sitting in the beanie seat.

The theme for this party is wearing blue and red, we can never left out the red cape! Yeah with my red cape on, and son's with Superman shirt and red cape. We won Second Prize in Best Dress, three winners of Best Dress was chosen on the day!

Pictures are taken using my Samsung S3. I am happy to see my son's enjoy the movie and he loves the cake and muffin.

I am sure nobody can miss out the handmade Strawberry lips scrub made by Tammy, look below picture for the pink bottles! There's more than just Strawberry lips scrub, look there are jelly bean.  

After the movie, there is group photo taken and cutting cake by Tammy for Plusizekitten Super Birthday, yes her blog is 5 years old!

My son's so happy, he slept in the car while heading home. Thank you Tammy for the great event of the day!

Monsters University movie review

On Wednesday night, I brought my son to watch the premier of Monsters University. This is where Mike and Sullivan met, they don't like each other. How they ended up being best friends?

Both of them studying in Monsters University also known as MU, this is where they have many different types of monsters. Mike and Sullivan was removed from the course they are taking because they ruined the gas tank. Mike wants to get back in MU and decided to join team of OK. They needed six monsters in a team and they are lack of one. Mike has no choice but to take Sullivan in the team, it is about team work if they want to win the scare game! No kidding with only Mike and Sullivan that knows well of scaring children, the rest of the team are not. Mike is the one in charge of training them except for Sullivan.

Find out in this movie about how to get the OK team compete with other teams. This movie bring laughter to son and me. :D

Yesterday morning my first time to see the movie in IMAX 3D with 3D glasses at Sunway Pyramid. My second time to see the movie Resident Evil: Retribution, yeah got scare the second time too! It is the first half hour movie, you got to see it to find out. The scary part that scare me happened in the house.

About Jackie Chan in the movie, I saw him definitely he's not Jackie Chan but his makeup and the side view of his face does looked like him. I told my dear and he didn't notice his face at all!

I am sure you like to know how Alice escape from Red Queen in Resident Evil: Retribution. It is your chance to win one pass of Resident Evil: Retribution to see the movie in IMAX 3D. It is big difference compared the first time I saw the movie last week which without the 3D glasses.
