The Conjuring 2

Tomorrow children is back to school, are you ready for that? Well, I am not but lets face it we have no choice. This June school holidays, was great as I get to spend times with sons and get to know more about their favourite animation. By the way, the animate your imagination is the last day for submission today. I have also brought my son to see the real padi field in the mall, in fact is my first time to see it too. We do seen them in the TV but not in real life

Last Friday is mommy time out as I get to spend time alone to go for movie that I like, I watched the Conjuring 2 alone with other people in the cinema of GSC Midvalley. The movie ticket cost RM17 a person. I like the Conjuring movie as it is scary movie.

A young man sit next to me, I believe he's still a teen as movie is rated PG 13. He was watching this movie with his classmates. He brought a headphone with him, when he feel scare of listen the sound of the movie, he puts it on.

The Conjuring 2 has a bit of comedy in it, overall I like the movie from the start to the end. I got scared twice on my seat.

Just a note that the board with letters and the pointer to seek for advice or others stuff are not encourage to use it. You never know what you are asking for, it might just spook you!

Last night I have a movie date with my dear, we watched this movie The Bride. Scary movie indeed as we get scared a few times in the movie.

Moral of the story is never pick up any RED Packet (Red Ang Pao) on the roadside or outside or in the jungle or park or garden.

Taiwanese Ghost Marriage Film "The Bride" Produced By The Japanese Master Of Horror
With the start of Chinese Ghost month in August, Taiwan has recently released a horror film The Bride, themed with a Taiwanese mysterious custom: ghost marriage. The film is produced by Japanese horror master Takashige Ichise who created a phenomena of horror cinema throughout Asia, including Ringu, Ju-on: The Grudge and other more.

Helmed by the first-time director Lingo Hsieh and starring Chris Wu and Nikki Hsieh, The Bride has been praised as the most terrifying horror film in recent times, successfully combining Taiwanese folk custom and Japanese horror elements.

Producer Takashige Ichise was behind the 1998 film Ring, which created a Sadako phenomenon throughout Asia. On collaborating with a Taiwanese director to make a Taiwanese horror film, Takashige Ichise explained that to make a Taiwanese horror film stand out, local customs must be incorporated. Director Lingo Hsieh said that Takashige Ichise was very strict, starting by telling her to “shoot her own story,” and her first draft of the screenplay was rejected for not being scary at all.
Chris Wu Kang-ren on acting in his first horror film stated that the horror film that impressed him the most was Ring. Working on The Bride introduced him to the professionalism and discipline of producer Takashige Ichise. Nikki Hsieh commented that the film is Taiwan’s most original horror film yet. In addition to scary scenes, there are also intimate scenes with Wu Kang-ren and Nikki Hsieh in the film. Wu Kang-ren said shyly that although they are close, acting in intimate scenes still made him self-conscious. Nikki Hsieh, on the other hand, said that even her husband is comfortable with her working with Wu Kang-ren.

The director revealed ghost encounters during filming
When asked by host about paranormal phenomenon during the test screening, director Lingo Hsieh stated that a friend of hers saw “extras” that were not supposed to be on screen in a scene where Wu Kang-ren’s character goes to an old house alone. The director also said that when The Bride was in post-production in Japan, there was a paranormal phenomenon in which as the crew stayed in an old inn, one of her colleagues who could not speak Japanese was possessed during sleep and started talking in fluent Japanese, which scared her so much that she could not fall asleep.

Chie Tanaka stated that she believed The Bride will become a Taiwanese horror classic. She also had a breakthrough in style in the film.

Released by MM2 Entertainment, ‘The Bride’ will be screening in Malaysia this Nov 12.

Movie Review: Sinister 2 *not for weak heart*

Spoiler alert!

So fast it has been two years since I last watch Sinister, last night I watch Sinister 2 with my dear. 

The movie not suitable for children to watch, it's for 18 above only.

A mom who wants to protect her twins boys aged 9 years old Dylan and Zach. She and her boys stay's at a farm house home where she knew bad things had happened. Dylan can see many things but he's not telling his mom about it. He's been hiding his feeling towards her. Dylan was force to view documents of families murder. 

My dear and I got scare a few times while watching the movie. I believe not just us even the crowd in the cinema hall too.

Is the family of twins and their mom going to escape from being killed? Dylan and Zach's dad wanted the children back, he was abusive dad and Dylan is very scare of him. Zach is a big bully, he's always bully Dylan. 

In this movie you'll be seeing many ghosts child and shadows. 

After Sinister, now Sinister 2, the spooky man in the movie has never spook a word until now.

If you don't like to see blood, you'll not like this movie.

They are many rats and crocodile in the movie too. 

Also related to fishing trip, kitchen renovation, and many more.

Not going to spoil your mood to watch the movie, go ahead find out yourself. 

KRISTY movie: CAMPUS ALONE!!

If you have seen Home Alone movie, you'll like this movie which is for 18 yr old above.

I had a date with my dear last night to watch this movie KRISTY. Name of movie is KRISTY because a gang started killing good gal and named those gal as KRISTY even though the gals name is not KRISTY. Many gals were killed and video taped and uploaded... this is sick I know.. 

A gal named Justine is going to spend Thanksgiving holiday alone time at her campus while her friends all back for their Thanksgiving holiday. Her friend Nicole, supposed to stay with Justine but she left too so she left behind her BMW car for Justine to use. One night Justine decided to go out to nearest Mart to purchase items. The nightmare starts from there, apparently she was mark for being nice and pretty by a stranger. 

The stranger is a gal with strange attitude, she starts calling Justine by Kristy! 

The night where the stranger gang are out for Justine, they want to kill her. So Justine is alone in Campus. There is a guard in the campus, another guard at the guard house. Will they survive?

Justine has boyfriend, he too left her campus alone though that someone is with her but he came back for her! 

How Justine is going to fight back when nobody is there to help her? 

Haley Bennett as Justine in the movie, bravo I like this movie very much. 

Yeah violence in this movie and killing too so it's not suitable for 18yr and below.

Just one thing I don't like about this movie is the noise of the movie, I find it very noisy and irritating. Not all of it but some of it, well I enjoy waching this movie from start to the end. 

Deliver Us from Evil movie review

Yesterday night, my friend and I watched Deliver Us from Evil, NY Police special officer Ralph Sarchie (Eric Bana) and his colleague investigate on crimes scenes. Sacrhie has a family, he has a wife and a six year old daughter. 

Three soldiers go for war and something happen in the tunnel they entered, one of the solders had video but it suddenly blackout and one of the soldier scream. After the war, they came back differently, they acted different and was dispelled form the military. They open a painting job together, it's more than just painting they are doing. One of them painted a wall in the zoo, he then disappeared when Sarchie enter there to find him for questioning then appears two lions. Sarchie and his colleague head to the zoo because one woman missing from there after she tossed her toddler in the ravene. 

Something about Sarchie that attracted the evil attentions?! He can hear voices and seeing things... 

In this movie my friend and I got scare twice, truly this movie is not for weak heart people to watch. 

The rating of movie 18 above because they have violence in the movie, the involvement of killing, eating flesh, etc. 

Indeed this is a good movie to watch, if you love horror movies check this out.

Deliver Us From Evil

Are you excited that this movie Deliver Us From Evil coming to cinema soon. I have a movie date with my dear, he's the one I watched Sinister with. Sinister movie was 2 years ago? I checked the review on my blog post, wow..time fly. This time I have movie date with my classmate. She says she still okay to watch the horror movie before the Chinese Ghost Festival starts.

I watched the trailer of this movie Deliver Us From Evil, sounds scary and creepy. I am not sure if it would scare me in the cinema.

Mmm.. I trying to watch the play back of Raja Teh Tarik on TV but sad to see it's not available at all.

Movie: In The Dark (mandarin)

Another scary movie to scare you in cinema, it's In The Dark a mandarin movie. This movie I saw the thriller it's quite scary, they used the board or paper with Chinese words on it to move a small bowl with their finger moving around to ask the ghost questions about how many of them there, are they male or female.

I won two movie passes to watch this but sad to say, the movie screening the time not suitable or the cinema not near to me.

I remembered something bad happened in my school, back then in primary school. The headmaster told the school children don't play anything like that. Some thing bad happened to a child, we not sure what happened, he never says anything about what happened to the boy or girl. The headmaster just warning children not to play it, so young children started playing this without their parents around? I don't know, but is best we watch out our children no matter what we are doing or where we are.

Now we know CCTVs are important to install in homes, when you are not around. You don't know what's going on at home while you are at work.

Oculus horror movie

Whose home does not have a mirror? I believe every home with at least one mirror in room. Oculus is a horror movie, it has antic mirror that can haunt you.

I have mirror in my room, but it's cover with sheet or blanket during the night. How scary it is to see your reflection in the dark/night?

I haven't watch this movie, hoping to watch it soon.

The Haunt 2014 movie rating

There's now horror movie, The Haunt. I am not sure of the movie rating. I saw the movie rated PG13 on GSC Cinema but 18 above for TGV Cinema. Mmm.. which is the correct rating for this movie?

In this movie something to do with the box in the house. Talking about the box, I recalled of the music box in The Conjuring movie.

Do you have a music box? I still have a music box that I kept since teenager. It's still working, the bottom has a handle to twist, once open the box the little angel can put on the magnetic square box to dance.

Anyway my son has no interest in horror movie, he's into animation movie or super heroes movie.

Review: Second Coming Chinese Movie

It's a nice movie to watch if you like to watch ghost movie/horror movie. But somehow I don't quite get it for some screens. The actress Maggie Siu is my favourite, I like her drama when I was younger. There's a drama series which is comedy she acted. I don't recall the name, but there's one gal with name eight sister in the drama series. The Yang family named mentioned in the drama series.

In this movie, she was raped and pregnant with the man who raped her, it happened in a night club or bar that she works as waitress. Her family is poor, she has a husband and a son. She's 4 months pregnant and unable to abortion because doctor told her it would be dangerous for her life.

What happened next?

The house in the movie is very unique, haven't seen such has with so many glass. It looks like almost a transparent house they are living in.

I watched the movie in GSC Midvalley, first time step foot in THX Hall 11. The hall is very cold at night, plus watching this movie, my dear next to me munching popcorn. There's part he try to look away from the screen, yeah you know when you heard the sound or there's no sound at all BEWARE!

I am glad that his movie speaks in Cantonese, I saw some trailer is speaking in Mandarin.

Halls of Horror Movie Marathon@TGV Cinema

11 October is the night where we have a memorable night for the Halls of Horror Movie Marathon at TGV Cinema in Chill X, 1 Utama. First picture above is Mommy Jane and Me, second picture of Tammy the witch and Reggie with a knife on the head.

 

It is a memorable night for me, Jane and I have fun with the photo taking. Check out first photo of Jane and me.

 

I must say they have done a good job decorating the Chill X in 1 Utama. We feel comfortable and enjoy the food and drinks. I can never forget the yummy drink which taste like Oreo mint. Look at the hand in the soup, some friends were asking me whether it is a real hand. lol

 

We enjoy the movie the night and I am happy to watch the Insidious 1 and Insidious 2, if you haven't watch Insidious 1 do watch this so you can understand more about the movie for Insidious 2.

Get scared with *The Conjuring 2013*

Yesterday night we get the chance to watch The Conjuring, yeah happy me because I won two movie passes to watch it. Earlier I missed the chance to watch because same night was The Wolverine.

How do we calm ourselves when watching this movie? We have got popcorn or chips in hand to eat while watching the movie. Yeah I think this way we get less scare watching the movie. How about you?

In 1971, Carolyn and Roger Perron with their five daughters move into a old farm house in Harrisville, Rhode Island. On the first day, one of their daughters found a music box near the tree. They are happy to see the house once they reach there, the first night their dog didn't want to enter the house. The second day their daughter went looking for the dog but found him dead. Carolyn has bruise on her leg, the bruise started appearing on her body each day. Yeah creepy, Roger ask her to see a doctor.

Do you know how they bought the old farm house? It is through auction and they have no idea who was earlier living in this home. Even though the home is beautiful near the lake but sad to say not everything look that perfect. One woman hang herself at the branch of the tree near the lake.

Ed and Lorraine Warren are paranormal investigators, you will be more familiar with ghostbusters. Carolyn approached them for help because her daughters too experience the scary moments through the night.

Lorraine Warren has special gift, she can feel and sense spirit. Once she steps into the house of Carolyn and Roger Perron, she knew something is not right. They are spirits latching on the family, even though if they decided to move, it doesn't help because the spirits have latch on to the family.

If you like horror movie, you will like to how Ed and Lorraine help the family. They almost lost Carolyn and two of the daughters!

I don't know that Ed and Lorraine's home have kept all the antics and toys. Pss.. they aren't really toy to play with. Watch out!
