A NEW RAJA TARIK F&N IS CROWNED

Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N 2014 concluded on a high on last Thursday night, crowning a triumphant Syed Khaidir from Johor Bahru, the title of Raja Tarik F&N after he successfully battled his way through the grand finale. F&N Dairies Malaysia, the No.1 Condensed Milk Company in Malaysia held the Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N for the ninth time this year. This marks another successful year for the event, showcasing the nation’s universal love for the Malaysian beverage, teh tarik, in addition to the appreciation of the art of tarik-ing, which has since become a Malaysian cultural heritage.

The grand finale which was held in e@Curve, Petaling Jaya. We saw 9 finalists from six regions across Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia take up the challenge to demonstrate the most entertaining and artful tarik-ing skills in the country. Spectators were glued to their seats, as finalists presented a dazzling performance using their agility, skill and steady hands to great effect, without spilling a drop. For an even more rousing performance, the finalists also injected traditional and customary dances specific to their regions into their presentation. The exciting and deft skills of these participants were evident, thanks to hours of dedication and practice spent to perfect their moves.

F&N Dairies Malaysia takes pride in delivering quality products alongside entertaining and cultural competitions to entice Malaysians. The Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N succeeded in reaching all levels of Malaysia’s multicultural society showcasing how the art of tarik-ing and preparing teh tarik resonates with all walks of life. More than just a competition, Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N was also a platform to educate Malaysians and cultivate entrepreneurship of participants through the different preparation methods by of applying both F&N Sweetened Condensed Milk F&N Evaporated Milk – producing F&N Teh Tarik Kahwin, the best combination to achieve a less sweet yet creamier tasting cup of teh tarik.

Syed Khaidir walked away with a grand prize of RM10,000 and the coveted title of Raja Tarik F&N 2014. The first and second runner up walked away with a cash prize of RM5,000 and RM3,000 respectively. The six remaining finalists did not go back empty handed, as they received a cash prize of RM1,000 each. The new Raja Tarik F&N was crowned by Khun Somsak Chayapong, CEO of F&N Holdings Bhd. and Tan Hock Beng, Managing Director of F&N Dairies Malaysia.

Also present at the grand finale to cheer on the nine skilful finalists were the popular Fizo Omar, actor, model and TV host and Farah Fauzana, Malaysian radio announcer, TV host and TV producer. Both Fizo and Farah hosted the Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N 2014 program on TV3 and TV9, which captured the excitement of tarik-ing actions by the participants from across the six regions. The TV program also featured local signature dishes and recipes made richer and more delicious with F&N Sweetened Creamer and F&N Evaporated Creamer.

F&N Dairies Malaysia has long championed Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N, ensuring its rightful recognition as the No.1 tarik-ing competition in Malaysia.

More than just a truly spectacular event, Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N has become a springboard for its winners to represent Malaysia in the international arena, showcasing the art of tarik-ing as the pride and joy of the nation.

Yesterday is mother and son day's out, yeah even night out. It's fun for us before he starts schooling on Monday, yeah you know it School Holiday is over soon.

The nationwide search for the new Raja Tarik F&N is almost over.


Following the six regionals held over the past two months, 10 tarik-ers from all across the nation will battle it out to be crowned in the Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N 2014 and walk away with the grand prize of RM10,000.

Local celebrities and TV/radio personalities, Farah Fauzana and Fizo Omar, the hosts of Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N 2014 TV program on TV3 and TV9 will make an appearance to cheer on the finalists who have had a few weeks to perfect their skills with exciting stunts and amazing flexibility to take tarik-ing to a whole new level.

Let's go and cheer on the contestants and enjoy a glass of Teh Tarik F&N or even Teh Kahwin F&N in the Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N, Grand Finale as follows:
