The season also highlights Pocotee & Friends’ 10th anniversary where Da Men Junior members as well as shoppers get to be a part of fun-filled workshops, costume competitions and the Candy Race. In the coming weeks, Da Men Mall will be a candy-themed winter wonderland with a line-up of
exciting activities such as Santa meet-and-greets, carolling, art & craft workshops and special, festive performances such as ballet and flash mob dances.

At the launch of ‘Candy Christmas’ , VIPs were present to officiate the event, dressed in sweet Christmas colours. With the help of over 150 students from INTI’s Centre of Art & Design (ICAD), Christmas trees at Atrium, Ground Floor are decorated with over 800 DIY ornaments. Elsewhere in the mall, shoppers are greeted with sweet, candy-inspired decorations featuring cute characters from Da Men Mall’s festive collaboration with Pocotee & Friends, an exclusive partnership that is sure to appeal to younger members of the Da Men Mall community. Shoppers can also experience a white Christmas with a snowfall experience every weekend at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

“CSR and giving back to the community lies at the core of the mall’s values. This season of giving, we are absolutely delighted to share the cheer with the surrounding community. At Da Men Mall’s ‘Candy Christmas Cookie Drop’ last week, our staff dressed up in festive costumes to visit orphanages and old folks homes and personally deliver cookies and sweet treats,” says Dato’ Joyce Yap.

The treats were baked at the annual Smart Junior Chef Culinary Competition on 17 November hosted by Da Men Mall. At the event, Da Men Mall also made its mark by entering the Malaysia Book of Records for the second time this year, in collaboration with Smart Junior Chef, Fonterra Brands and Rasaku, for the “Most Number of Cookies used in a Domino Effect.” Earlier this year, Da Men Mall received its first MBR entry for the “Most Number of Beauty Queens Wearing Kebaya in a Fashion Parade.”

From now until 29 Dec, shoppers may enjoy sweet Christmas rewards with minimum RM80 spent (RM60 for Public Bank Cardholders) in a single receipt mall-wide, to redeem Pocotee & Friends Christmas plush toys, neck pillows, vouchers and other exciting gifts.

This festive season, check out the newly opened Global Art School, 4th Floor, and Yamaha Music School, 3rd Floor, that promotes creativity among aspiring talented individuals. In Japan, Japanese do not own big space home, their room has limited space. With lack of storage spaces, the only to make space for the room is selling their pre-loved. The room is small, you can imagine it is just as big as your kitchen.

Yeah I have a great time shopping at Jalan Jalan Japan, so much to see and found the nice Burberrys jacket there at only RM30. It's a steal, where can I get this price for the brand and quality of this jacket. Pink coat you see above it cost only RM5, the leopard print kimono at RM5, the red truck only RM10. You can check out my instagram @sherrygo to view the red truck. My son has a good time playing it, the sirens still works and it's in good condition. The toys near the red truck some are RM3.

You can check the goods before you purchase, the toys you can asked to check before purchase. I didn't test the toy truck when I bought it, I didn't know the sirens and sound works until my son told me that I need to put batteries in to turn it on. He's so happy, playing it and putting his toys cars inside.

The items are preloved and I bought them because they looks like new. It's a great place for family with budget to shop. You'll find something for everyone.

I haven't been to Japan and I am happy that I can shop for the preloved Japan goods here. I can't wait to go back there to shop again. Heavy rain caused drain flood to road USJ

First time in our live that we experienced drain flood to the road at nearby LRT USJ, as you know the construction area with many roadside dividers. Guess what? All the divider some of it floated to the middle of the road. My dear has to slowly drive through the road because of the drain water non stop coming out of the drain. It was heavy rain in the evening around 6.30pm.

We just had our dinner from F4 restaurant in USJ. We didn't know that going through that road towards the Giant USJ, MYDIN MALL and SUMMIT USJ MALL can be so challenging. I'm glad that flood water didn't get into my dear's car or his car's engine.

My son thought he saw chili in the water, he kept saying look aunt there's chili in the water. My sister-in-law told my dear to reverse the car but we have no where to go, we are in between the high rise water. The lorry in front of us is not moving due to traffic light, so we need to wait our turn.

2 hour Emperor Spa @USJ Taipan

I bought the RM78 2 hour Emperor Spa from Groupon you can find the detail of this spa here. There are three outlets to choose from Kuchai Lama, USJ or Klang. I choose to go USJ Taipan it is new and open five months ago. You need to make reservation before you go and I have called up. I was told that the weekend is fully book til Jan 2012. If weekday there is still space but depend on day and time.

Today I had fabulous 3 hour Emperor Spa yeah it is 3 hour not two hour because you will need to take a shower too. Do take note that if you purchase the online coupon you can only redeem it once because they will check on their system using your I/C.

The spa includes of
15 min infrared sauna session RM58 value
15 min full body detox scrub RM78 value
10 min seaweed back mask RM68 value
60 min full body aromatheraphy massage RM98 value

Above is where I get start with the spa, the 10 min seaweed back mask was place on my tummy because I have many strech marks due to pregnancy. The 24 year old girl massage me is from Indonesia she has started learning massage at aged of 20.

Cleaners at subang jaya and usj

I have been busy looking for cleaners for my sis apartment and you know it takes me a day or two days to find it. I have problem to access the internet as there is no internet access over two weeks. Yesterday I spend the whole day looking through the internet and calling the agents and numbers that I found over the internet. Finally I found one that says need minimum of three hours service and each hour is RM20. You need to include another RM5 for transportation fee.

The cleaner is fantastic she spend less than three hours to clean my sister apartment. The apartment was vacant I need someone to clean it up. I found out that there is cleaner service which charge RM15, RM17, RM18 an hour. You have to search over the internet and call them up to find out. I took a long time to do it and I seldom note them down.

If you have been missing me for MIA, I was busy and my baby is already 3 months old. :D
