PINKFONG BABY SHARK ICE CREAM & MINI CONCERT

Good day to all my reader and visitor, it's been a very hot day. I love to eat ice cream during hot day and even my kids love them too. Now there's PinkFong Baby Shark Ice Cream, do you know of the Baby Shark Doo Doo Doo? It is kids' favourite song, I got to know this from youngest son he started showing me video on youtube and sing along.



We are so happy that we can enjoy the PINKFONG Baby Shark Ice Cream in Malaysia, we love the delicious strawberry flavour ice holly with milk flavoured filling. Yeah, it taste so yummy that I have purchased more to keep in freezer at home. You can find the ice cream available in-stores nationwide now. It is RM1.90 for one PINKFONG Baby Shark Ice Cream.





Say no more as we had more surprises for us last week, were you by any chance at One Utama Shopping Centre last week? There was a PINKFONG & Baby Shark Mini Concert which was on 26 April 2018 to 29 April 2018 at High Street where we found more PINKFONG Baby Shark Ice Cream. Indeed it was a great experience that made me and my boys enjoy every single moment of the concert. It’s also considered as fun learning experience for the kids and they can sing-along together with the lyrics on the screens. That evening was truly a memory to keep; The Baby Shark mini concert from start to end was very knowledgeable; do check out my video above. I was told tickets were sold out too. Besides watching the show, we also enjoyed the PINKFONG Baby Shark ice cream, it was selling at a buy 1 free 1 during that weekend.

At a recent event, members of the media were introduced to the two new  Pharmaton Personalities, Fara Fauzana and Chef Sherson Lian. The event was held in Talent Lounge at Damansara Perdana.

In a chat session during the event, Fara and Sherson shared their personal tips on sustaining energy levels despite their daily challenges.  

Fara Fauzana or more fondly called by her fans FaFau, mentioned that her day starts very early. She needs to wake up 4am every day and be at the office at 5am in ther morning, at the break of dawn, she says it requires a lot of discipline and energy but she's passionate about her job and do not mind doing it every day. 

She added “You have to be hyped up at 6.00am when the show begins, be well-prepared and be engaging with my listeners”. 

With Pharmaton®, she is on top of her job and has the energy that can see her through till the end of the day including playing her favourite sports every  night with friends.

Sherson on the other hand claims that he has to stay alert and physically fit  due to his nature of work.

If you love cooking, I am sure that you know cooking requires planning and precision. Sherson needs to have focus in everything that he can do from planning the menu to choosing the best and freshest ingredients. As chefs he needs the energy to be able to manage the challenges in the kitchen such as the heat, heavy utensils and being on their feet for long hours. I know that as my brother works in the kitchen before. 

Sherson as a host on food programmes, it is important for him to have the alertness, to be able to memorise scripts as well as endure long shooting hours. 

Sherson when asked about why Pharmaton® is important in his daily life. In 2012 he set up a consultancy called Cookery Chemistry Solution that handles everything with food from restaurants, to food consultancy and shows.

At the event, Sherson also showed off his culinary skills as he prepared a special dish created with the key ingredient, Ginseng found in Pharmaton®.

Pharmaton Capsules and Pharmaton Caplets

Now I am sure you are awaiting to know the recipe of the Ginseng Ice Cream. It's my first time to see dry ice being use to make ice cream. 

Pharmaton Inspired Ginseng Ice Cream Recipe
Equipment needed 
1. Stove x 2
2. Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl x 3
3. Stainless Steel Whisk x 1
4. Measuring cup x 1
5. Sauce Pot x 2
6. Large  Spoon x 2
7. Sift x 1
8. Ice Cream Scoop x 1
9. Table Top Mixer x 1 (with flat beater attachment )
10. Blender 
11. Serving plates (if there is going to be tasting)
12. Serving spoons as well ( if there is going to be tasting )
13. Small bowls or containers for the ingredients

Recipe
1. 1 ½ cups – cream
2. 1 ½ cups – milk
3. 1 tblspn – vanilla extract
4. 5 egg – yolks 
5. ½ cup – sugar
6. 2tblspn – butter
7. 1nos – cinnamon stick
8. 1 cup – macadamia nuts 
9. 3/4 cup water 
10. 1/3 cup – ginseng chopped
11. 1 handful – ginseng flower
12. Pinch – nutmeg powder  
13. Salt to taste
14. Berries and flowers
15. Dry Ice



Method
1. Put 3/4 cup water, ginseng and simmer for about 15 mins.  
Add ¼ cup of sugar and  continue to simmer until mixture turns into syrup. 
Sift and set aside to cool. 
2. In another sauce pot, combine milk and cream and vanilla extract and simmer. 
3. In a mixing bowl whisk the egg yolks with ¼ cup of sugar until smooth and creamy. 
4. Add into the milk and cream mixture, stirring slowly. Do not boil. 
5. Continue to stir and simmer until the mixture becomes like custard. 
6. When ginseng syrup is cool then add into the custard.
7. Blend dry ice into powder with the blender.
8. Pour the custard into the mixer’s pot with the flat beater attachment. 
9. Turn on low speed and add the powdered dry ice a little at a time. 
10. Ice Cream done!!!
For the Macadamia Caramel .
1. Put sugar into a none stick pan. 
2. When sugar is melting and nice and brown add in 1/3 cup of water with cinnamon stick. 
3. Allow to dissolve and thicken then add in the macadamia nuts and butter. 
4. Salt to taste. Serve. 
Assemble. 
1. Scoop ice cream onto a bowl, drizzle with the macadamia caramel, and some macadamia.
2. Place berries around. 
3. Garnish with edible flowers.

Magnum Gold Pursuit, Magnum Gold Gift of BMW 3 Series


I attended the Magnum Gold Pursuit Finale at Sunway Convention Center. 

Magnum Gold - The world’s first golden ice cream - A luxurious soft vanilla ice cream with sea–salt caramel sauce covered in Belgian Chocolate and double coated with Gold Belgian Chocolate.

Magnum Gold’s limited edition positioning was completed in true Hollywood style. A total blockbuster experience which was epitomised by the appearance of an international movie actress Caroline Correa launching the Magnum Gold ice cream, stunningly draped in a 24-carat Magnum Gold couture retailed at USD 1.3mil earlier this year.

Magnum activated Magnum Gold Pursuit, an online consumer contest from August 2014 – 31st October 2014. This contest aims to engage with consumers and reward Magnum’s loyal pleasure seekers with prizes as a way to show Magnum’s appreciation towards its consumers.

Look how exciting the final 10 finalists, anxious to know who is going to win. 

The contest was open to everyone through the purchase of a Magnum ice cream (90ml). By keying in the 13 digit alphanumeric code found on the Magnum ice cream stick, pleasure seeker would either be rewarded with a Magnum Gold coin or stand a chance to win the grand prize, a BMW 3 Series. In order to compete for the grand prize, pleasure seekers had to participate in the online vault game and open the Magnum Gold Pursuit Vaults to discover hidden Magnum Gold coins. The top 20 scorers from the online game competed for the grand prize at the Magnum Gold Pursuit grand finale.


The 20 finalists were put through 3 stages of individual mind and physical game challenges against time. The challenge was crafted in line with “The Greatest Heist in History” concept where the ultimate challenge for them is to break into the Magnum Gold Vault to win the grand prize at the final stage. The first stage required them to solve a blue print puzzle leading to a secret code enabling them to unlock a door to pass through to the 2nd stage. Only 10 finalists made it to the 2nd stage and each of them were introduced to the media and guests before proceeding to their challenge.

The moment I enjoy the magnum ice cream.. yup.. this is just for me. 

We get to watch the big screen of "The Greatest Heist in History" final two stages through a live feed during the event. The second stage put them in booby-trapped compound where there were required to deactivate the bomb. In order to do so each finalists needed to take the bomb with them from the start going through three obstacles and detonating the bomb at the finish line. It is amazing and anxious moment to know who is going to be in final stage. 





3 finalists made it through to the final stage of breaking the code to enter the Magnum Golden Vault and win a gift of gold. The chase came to a close as one of the finalists managed to decode the Magnum Golden Vault and there in the corner of the main ballroom stage was the grand prize a BMW 3 series. 



 Mr Herry Budiazahari presented the grand prize winner with the key to the car and the other finalists with a consolation prize of 2gm Magnum Gold Coins of 99.9% gold purity.


 The Magnum Gold Pursuit grand prize winner and finalists celebrated the experience As Good As Gold at the Magnum Solid Gold Party. Magnum Gold Golden Girl Lexie Rodriguez and guests were treated with golden inspired desserts and sound as good as gold by the dynamic Danger Disco spinning top disco house remixes of today’s hits.
The winner is Mr. Fung Yoke Yan!
