Ruffedge had the crowd singing along to popular singles such as Bila Rindu and Khayalan.
Happy New Year 2019 to dear friends and readers of my nameSherry. Yeah time fly, it's another year how did you spend the New Year Celebration? As for the day, I have gone for movie at eCurve watching the Marry Poppins, yeah it's a day for myself as my kids have gone to home town with sister-in-law and niece. I have snap some photos, you can view it on my YouTube click on the link to view.
The night there's rain but it didn't stop everyone from having fun and enjoy their time with loved ones.
Aizat Amdan blew the audience away with performances of his hit songs during MDCC's The Final Countdown 2019 concert.

The air was filled with excitement and merriment at Mutiara Damansara Commercial Centre (MDCC), as revellers gathered together to celebrate the end of yet another year and countdown the final hours to usher year 2019!

MDCC, which includes the Curve, eCurve and IPC Shopping Centre, held its annual New Year’s Eve fete, The Final Countdown 2019! A throng of participants and merrymakers from all walks of life participated in the various festivities, which started in the afternoon and lasted well into the night.

The celebrations started off with a Fitness Fiesta session led by prominent fitness celebrities, Hansen Lee, Nana Al Haleq and Lee Yvonne. Sports enthusiasts worked up a sweat with the Movement Training and High Intensity Interval Training, while others rocked out to popular tunes with Zumba.

Kids also had their share of fun as they cheerfully bounced on an inflatable playground! While waiting for the main festivities to start, children and parents enjoyed an evening full of fun and laughter and even made new friends along the way! Others visited the shopping malls in the area for last minute shopping and even had the chance to explore and enjoy the plethora of dining options available.

Moving on to the highly anticipated event of the night, families, friends and loved ones convened at the Countdown Concert as Phat Fabes and Lee Yvonne kicked-off the fiesta with their signature charm and flair. There was much to look forward to as local celebrities Aizat Amdan, Ruffedge, Elvira Arul, Talitha Tan and Orange Tan wowed the audience with much-loved songs.

There was something in store for all music lovers, the young as well as the young at heart. Locally grown band, Ruffedge, evoked nostalgic memories with their timeless performances of Bila Rindu, Khayalan and Lemas. Through her energetic and powerful renditions of hit single Titanium by Sia as well as This is Me from the beloved film The Greatest Showman, Elvira Arul had the audience on their feet and singing along with delight.

Another popular name in the local scene, Aizat Amdan, who first gained fame as a contestant during Akademi Fantasia, wowed his fans with his most famed single, Hanya Kau Yang Mampu. As a surprise, Aizat performed a beautiful medley of Hero and You Are The Reason, which had the audience cheering and dancing along. As Orange Tan took the stage, the crowd was elated and sang their hearts out as she performed favourite Mandarin and English tunes.

Elvira Arul wows the crowd with her exhilarating performance.

Another homegrown talent, Talitha Tan, who first gained Malaysians’ hearts with her chart-topping single Okay, took the stage with passion and brought the party to full swing. She drew a loud applause from the crowd with her soulful music style as she performed her well loved songs such as Girls, Fooled Me and even an impressive cover of current hit single, Without Me by Halsey.

When the clock struck midnight, the audience was captivated as the sky exploded into a brilliant display of colour and sparkle, staying true to its reputation of being the largest and longest fireworks display in Mutiara Damansara! Mermaid Movie Stephen Chow

It's Monday and my son today attended school wearing Chinese New Year outfit. After the school, I bring him to Sunway Pyramid to purchase movie ticket of Mermaid Movie Stephen Chow. An adult cost RM20 and child RM9 for each ticket. The movie is rated PG13, suitable for my son as I am watching with him. It's special day to date my son because tomorrow is his birthday.

We went to TGV Cinema first to queue up for purchase the movie ticket. We like to watch Stephen Chow movies and this movie is directed by Stephen Chow. It's interesting and entertaining movie, we enjoy it from start to the end. The movie is related to sea, money and wealth.

Who doesn't like money? Even if you have gain a lot of money but if you are not having clean air to breath in what is the use of it. It is true, it is just like every year we are experiencing haze in the month of September and October.

Well back to the movie, it's related to sea world and living. Don't always think about the profit of earning money but the earth and world that we are living in. It's a nice movie to watch as related to mermaid that fall in love with human kind.

A nail punctured my car's wheel

I am happy to be home sweet home, the moment I walked out of my car from the parking at Sunway Pyramid I saw my driver's side car's wheel half of the aired is gone. No kidding I thought my car wheel is losing its air. Few hours after I attended an event I came to my car and saw my car's wheel almost flattened. I drive slowly back home, I thought of going to nearest petrol station to pump air to the wheel. But I told my dear that I am coming home first.

My dear had dinner with his colleague and he just showered when I reach home. He checked my car's wheel and found a big nail stuck inside my wheel. Oh boy! This is bad as it's late almost 10pm the tyre shop is not open. So he had to change my flattened wheel with the replacement wheel which can only be used temporary.

Tomorrow I need to go nearest tyre shop to repair the wheel, I am not sure if it can be repair. If can't then I need to purchase a new wheel for my car. My dear's birthday today and he told me yesterday that today he's not coming home for dinner as he has dinner with is colleague. So I went for an event in the afternoon until night. I am glad I chosen the event that is nearest to me, imagine having a flatten tyre driving home if I choose to go another event which is in Midvalley.

Not long ago, I have a week off not going any events, it's truly a moment for myself, with friends and with my family.

Can you take a break from attending events? Yes you can! The decision is yours.

Parking at Sunway Pyramid today from around 3.00pm to 9.20pm it cost RM5. Today I have a good time with my blogger friends at the event, watched comedy movie Suamiku Jatuh Dari Langit and buffet dinner Ramadhan at Shogun, Sunway Pyramid.

Balanced achieved. Sure there are weeks that seem more hectic than others however you understand that you need to have time to yourself too. You have rounded up your life with a good mix of friends, family and yes, even time to read.

Yesterday son has activity after class, he chosen the robotic class because he has interest for it. Glad to know other parents in group chat for informing else I thought only next week has the class. Being parent we need to check with other parents on homework and latest news happening in school. I was told that some children fall sick again in school. Though is exam week, parents know the important of children health, they have pulled their children from the exam and submitted the medical cert leave of sick to teacher. The children can go back for the exam for replacement exam when they are feeling better.

We know importance of education but we don't want to neglect the health of our children.

How's everyone doing? I can hear thunder here but there is no rain yet. So now I have time to do online registration to activate my Watsons member card. Sad to say after many times of trying their server unavailable at their website. It's completely waste of time.

By the way they are having iPhone 6 contests that you can check out their website for info. I am sure there is terms to join their contest. Online shopping with their website to join their contest.

Next Monday school start, are you ready? My son thought yesterday start and he woke up worry that he's late to school. I find that my son asks me many questions, instead of asking his dad.

Now is January, are you watching any new movie in cinema? I have interest to watch Taken 3, just waiting to see if any contest that I can win to watch.

So talking of member cards, I have got so many in my wallet. Well it's never enough there will be more and more coming asking you to sign up! Anyway if I seldom use them I wouldn't sign them up. Its just taking spaces in my wallet. There was a time my cards fall out of my wallet, lucky I pick up every piece of it. But sad I lost a card, that's MBO cinema member card. To replacement the card I need go MBO to pay RM2 for replacement. I used it last few weeks back, I didn't notice that I haven't get the card return to me and they no longer keeping my card. So I need to pay RM2 to replacement my card.

The Equalizer movie review

Yesterday is a movie night with my dear, the movie #TheEqualizer.

In the movie The Equalizer, Denzel Washing plays Robert McCall, He works in Home Mart, he trained help train a friend named Ralphie as security guard. He didn't give up training Ralphie, as Ralphie almost give up himself, he tried his best and keep training everyday.

Robert has a hard time to sleep at night, there was time he didn't sleep at all.

What is secret identity of  Robert McCall?
The bad guy is after him as he killed five bad people, Teddy a man with body fulled with evil/devil tattoo is going to hunt down Robert, will he succeed? Teddy with skilled of hunting people down and he gets what he wants. Especially answers he wants to know.

Movie is rated 18 above as consist of violent and many f*ck words being used.

Guardians of the Galaxy*hilarious

Two days ago, it was mother and son night out where we get to watch Guardians of the Galaxy thanks to Churp Churp. Movie is rated PG13.

He's been waiting to watch this movie anxiously and we have same favourite character that's Groot!

I think this movie is gonna be fun to watch with children who likes Marvel, my son and I enjoy the movie from start to the end of it. There's less blood spill in the movie so no hurry bring your children to watch.
Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, he was a young boy kidnapped by alien in space ship outside the hospital.
Zoe Saldana as Gamora, she's in green color skin.
Dave Bautista as Drax, body fulled of tattoo, he's the muscle guy.
Bradly Cooper with the voice of Rocket, a raccoon that can talk and loves making bomb, etc.
Vin Diesel voice of Groot, the tree with big heart, his favourite line I am Groot.

Find out how they team up to fight Ronan, as Ronan wants his orb back. The orb was stolen by Peter who also known as Starlord. He wants to save Xander from Ronan destroying it.
My favourite part of movie was how Rocket lying to Peter that he needs a fake leg in the jail. Rocket can be so funny... he even mentioned of an eye! Watch it to find out..

Peter Quill has his very own space ship, he was wrongly called as Star Prince instead of Starlord.
Find out how Xander trying to avoid Ronan's space ship looked to enter its ground.

In this movie is where Peter Quill find out that he's half man and half alien, he's mom is from earth but his dad is not.

Watched Hercules in TGV Indulge, 1Utama

Son finished his exam yesterday, after his class. In the evening I decided to bring him for movie. We enjoy watch the Hercules movie, it's PG13. Our favourite actor Dwayne Johnson as Hercules.

The movie has violence and blood shed, so it might not interest all parents to bring children to watch. I thought I saw Nicole Kidman in the movie, she's actress Ingrid Bolso Berdal as Atalanta, she sure look alike her. Atalanta is very good with bow and arrows.
John Hurt as Lord Cotys, he's quite funny in the movie.

The last movie I saw of Hercules was acted by actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

It's our first time to watch movie in TGV Indulge, it's an unforgetable night for mother and son.

He's enjoying every moment of it, the blanket and comfort seating of the chair. Spacious and I saw patrons removing their shoes to watch the movie as they have their feet up on the chair.

I ordered the juice and son's chocolate drink, and entry of chicken fried with salted egg.

I saw a couple watching this movie too, it's not just for couples or colleagues, even singles enjoy watching this movie alone.
I remembered I watched the movie alone, The Conjuring...
