Travel from LRT Hang Tuah back to LRT Subang Jaya

Its been a while since I last took long hour journey from one place to another. It may not be a long journey for others. My first time taking LRT from Hang Tuah and I asked the counter staff how to get back to Subang Jaya. The staff is helpful telling me to go LRT  Masjid Jamek to change. Indeed I just followed the signed board and I always check if I am going the correct way.

When you are familiar with the public transport it is good for you as you really saving lot for travel. I went to Kohi Yatta for an event and its cafe is just located next to Mazda. Coming back I asked my friend for a ride so that I can go back home by LRT.

Once get in the LRT Hang Tuah, the next stop is Pasar Seni. I checked again for the stops that I am going through as I want to make sure that I am on the right track. I am glad we car pool to the event as there is limited parking spots at the venue. I told my friend that there's a parking at the closed door area. Just nice as to park a car. As most car inside venue had double parking and limited movement, there's another car toward my friend's car which wanting to get out. I asked my friend to park at the closed door area, just nice as parked then the other car can just move its way out to the exit.

I was warned by my friend that beware at LRT Hang Tuah where I be heading as I need to walk up to there. Crimes happening there quite often, I quickly hurry to go LRT station didn't want to walk slowly.  The time was in the afternoon about 4.40pm.I reached home 5.30pm. The LRT trip for me coming back cost only RM3.80, if not mistake.

SUNPLAY SKIN AQUA UV MILD GEL SPF30 PA+++

Good day to everyone, it's going to be a busy week for me. I was told that son has got school's tuition for a week. He's also having tuition outside of school. Being a mom, I am in and out of the house often and I know important of taking care of my skin.

Vehicle emissions, smoke and dust are all pollutants that we are exposed to daily. With our skin being the outermost barrier, it is damaged-prone with constant exposure to pollutants and UV. Pollutants have minute particles that are tiny enough to penetrate the skin resulting in various skin problems that include premature aging, wrinkles, pigmentation and dullness. In addition to the effects of pullutants, excessive exposure to the UV rays can worsen skin conditions and accelerate premature aging.

One way of protecting our skin from harmful pollutants and UV rays is by applying sunscreen that has an anti-pollutant function. Developed to address skin problems caused by polutants and UV rays, the Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Mild Gel SPF30 PA +++ is here to protect your skin against environmental pollution including PM2.5 particles (PM2.5 are fine particle pollutants which are potentially harmful. They cling to the skin and become lodged in the pores which could penetrate into the epidermis layers. An extended to PM2.5 can cause various health problems including inflammatory skin conditions such as rashes and itching).

The Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Mild Gel is formulated with three moisturising ingredients i.e. hyalluronic acid, amino acids and a collagen blend that functions to keep the skin moisturised and prevents it from premature aging. The Skin Aqua Mild Gel is free from fragrance, colorants, alcohol and mineral oil. It is gentle on the skin and suitable for those with sensitive skin.

I like it as I tried it and it has a super light and watery texture that makes it comfortable for everyday use. It is suitable to use both face and body, it also comes with SPF30 PA +++, offering a broad spectrum of protection against UV rays. I like this as this product is not only use on face but also on body.

We can start protecting our skin from air pollutants and UV rays today with Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Mid Gel SPF30 PA +++ 110gm which is available exclusively at all Watsons Stores nationwide at RM40. It can be a great gift ideas for loved ones too. Easy for travel use and can keep in bag or backpack It's suitable for busy lifestyle people who are always on the go.

ANNA SUI DESIGNS TRAVEL BAGS EXCLUSIVELY @GUARDIAN MALAYSIA

I love shopping and my favorite would be Anna Sui brands too, fall in love with the luggage! Happy that I was able to make it yesterday for launch the first time to the Trillion Kuala Lumpur.

Good news to Malaysians who love Anna Sui and love travel. Recognising that Malaysians love to travel and want to look and feel good while travelling, Guardian Malaysia has collaborated with Anna Sui to develop exclusively designed collection to delight our shoppers!

The Anna Sui Luggage Collection, comprising two trolley bags, one tote bag and one designer case, can be redeemed at attractive, discounted prices under its latest loyalty programme which starts tomorrow. Speaking at the programme’s launch today, Ms. Christina Low, Marketing Director of Guardian Health And Beauty Sdn Bhd, said: “Our chose to work with Anna Sui as she has a strong influence in both beauty and fashion which are highly relevant to our health and beauty business. It is also to bring aspirational brands at affordable prices to the mass market.’’

According to Christina, Anna Sui said the luggage collection was inspired by perfume, butterflies and roses and colours of bright pop art, fuchsia and orange, but each design was inspired by different events in her career.

The story behind the designs, as provided by Anna:
1. The 24-inch trolley bag: “The pattern comes from a Mid-century modern tea towel, with a barber shop quartet theme. It originally appeared in my Fall 2012 collection, which was inspired by the work of Charles and Ray Eames, and their collection of Folk Art Americana. We customized the print with Anna Sui slogans, perfume bottles and lipstick tubes.”

2. The 20-inch trolley bag: “The butterfly print came from dresses in my Spring 2009 collection. The colours of the original pattern were quite similar to the way they are on the luggage. Some of the butterflies have been replaced with bottles of my Romantica fragrance!”

3. Tote-bag: “The rose bordered stripe design was originally done-up in black and white, with red flowers for a dress in my Spring 2007 collection. It remains one of the most iconic Anna Sui prints. A runway shot of the dress is on the cover of my new book, The World of Anna Sui.”

4. Designer case: “The pattern is derived from various Anna Sui cosmetic boxes over the years.”

But there is more. Guardian is offering two limited edition Anna Sui Eau De Toilette (EDT) starting in November. The EDT, in handy size of 30ml each, are the Dreams Yellow, and La Vie De Boheme, both prized at RM99.00, inclusive of GST, and would be available in only 150 selected stores.

At the launch Christina said: “To meet our shoppers’ changing needs, we have been constantly refreshing our health and beauty product offerings, and continuously looking for creative campaigns that are relevant to the business to reward our shoppers.

“This exclusive collaboration with Anna Sui, we believe is a fitting way to thank our loyal shoppers. Her design and collection whether they are fashion or perfume, are sought after and much-loved by a wide spectrum of women.”

“We are confident that the luggage collection will be a winner with our customers,” she added.

Putra LRT Subang Jaya to SOGO KL

It's Saturday, just coincidence that son does not have tuition so I tag him along to the Sogo KL for the DC Comics Super Heroes. It's our first time to go there, we took LRT, it cost RM4.10 for a pax, one way. When reach Masjid Jamek, we walk about 10 minutes to reach the mall we didn't know the way and I was looking at the Google Map too. The event starts time table 230pm to 430pm, we reached before 2pm and had lunch ourselves. The refreshment provided at event was cake, sweets and mineral water.

The LRT Station if take from SS15 Subang jaya would takes 16 stations to reach Masjid Jamed. I didn't know that we can go to Bandaraya LRT. So next time can just from SS15 Subang Jaya to Putra Height then from there change train to Bandaraya. It is direct reach from there. So the journey I took with son was longer than usual I think.

Lots to see and shop at DC Comics Super Heroes but we didn't buy anything as we went there for the event. At Sogo, I find out that the Teh Tarik Place would only serve Roti Telur or Roti Kaya at 3 pm, which is consider hot plates at the menu.

It's a lot of walking on Saturday and when we back time is raining too. Lucky I have an umbrella for each of us. It was great outing with son as he didn't take LRT for a long time, as for youngest son not yet bring him as it's a long tiring journey. It's packed in LRT so don't think he will be feeling comfortable.

Many people heading to MATTA Fair too, well we didn't go as didn't play to purchase any package at the moments. Though we love to have a family vacation stay. Busy lifestyle and glad to spend a good day with my son as seldom we have a travel together by public transport. I thought of driving but then I am not good with the directions and I saw waze showed 40minutes to reach.

Not much choice of restaurants I see at the SOGO, KL so son and me had a quick lunch at McD.

Genting Highland – More than just the theme parks

For those in and out of Malaysia, when Genting Highlands is mentioned, the first thing that would pop in your head will be the thrill filled, exciting rides that makes up their theme park. Not only that, being nestled high on a mountain peak makes Genting Highland the best place to escape the scorching sun to the salubrious mountain air. P.S., even though the outdoor theme park is currently under construction for the bigger, better, more extravagant Fox themed theme park, don’t let this stop you from getting yourself there. Here are the many other things that can be done up this mountain.

Casino de Genting
Genting Highlands raison d'être, the Casino de Genting may not come anywhere near Las Vegas’s prime light where sparkling dresses, glittering neon lights and scantily-clad showgirls abound, but for all its worth, this is Malaysia’s only legal land-based casino. Men in batik shirts and women in pretty frocks crowds the tables and punters line the slot machines waiting for their luck to bless them with a big payout. There is nothing but pure fun here (and momentarily loss for some too).

Flying Fox
If you fancy being strapped safely into a harness and helmet and then jumping off a ramp into a dipterocarp forest, then this would surely tickle your adrenaline spirit. This airborne adventure sends you off down a 100-metre strung down the side of the hill, not only do you get to enjoy this jump down, imagine the view of the whole Genting right in-front of your eye. The ultimate best way to bond with friends and family and required minimum level of instruction, making it the perfect quick-thrill ride.

Genting Skyway Cable Car
The Skyway Cable Car is the fastest and easiest way to get to the apex of Genting Highlands. This relaxing and scenic ride affords you breathtaking views of the surrounding hills; the gondola-style cab glides along at leisurely pace, making it an ideal photo-taking opportunity.
my family members enjoy the fun in Snow World, click to read about it
Snow World
Experience a winter wonderland, unlike any other in Malaysia, when you step into the snow-white landscape of Snow World. Featuring the Cresta Run snow slide, this attraction is a novel experience due to Malaysia’s hot and humid weather; it’s a great place to see kids playing and adults taking in the sights.

Genting Bowl
First World Plaza has a bowling alley - Genting Bowl. One of the highlights at Genting Bowl is the glow-in-the-dark bowling. For those of you who feel like the indoor theme park has nothing to offer you, do make sure you take some time off your shopping trip and drop by this bowling alley and experience a one-of-a-kind bowling session with the family!

Now that the entertainment part is covered, let’s talk hotels and accommodation. The hotels up here in Genting Highlands are stylish accommodations with impeccable service and spacious guestrooms with breathtaking mountain views. Here are some of our favourite.
This hotel is officially the world’s largest hotel in 2015, as it adjoins the First World Plaza which boasts 500,000 square feet of indoor theme park, a shopping center and food heaven. Right at the main entrance, a lush, tropical rainforest greets their guests and all their rooms are modern, comfortable and practical.

Awana Hotel – Resorts World Genting
Indulge in five-star luxury while enjoying the breathtaking view of a majestic mountain range, and make full use of their 18-hole golf course, heated swimming pool, and other sports facilities.  At Awana, the only main rival for comfort is their beautiful, stunning view.

One thing about Genting is you need to plan your holidays well as the crowd can be crazy at times and rooms will be totally sold out. So it’s always best check with Traveloka on the availability and also for the best deals in town.

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort unveils LEGO NINJAGO The Ride

Thank you Gaya Travel and Legoland Malaysia for inviting me to witness the LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort unveils LEGO NINJAGO: The Ride. Every child and adult likes Lego and the latest ride is an attraction promises to be a real game-changer to theme parks around the world. This is the largest additional investment since the opening of the LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort after the launch of its Theme Park, Hotel and Water Park. Estimated at more than RM$40 million, a cutting edge technology that never before seen at any other theme park int he world, LEGO NINJAGO: The Ride is manufactured by Triotech, world leader is media based interactive attractions, and features Maestra hand gesture technology.
LEGOLAND Parks being the first in the world to leverage cutting-edge technology, first launched the NINJAGO Ride in Billund, Denmark earlier this year, followed by California Resort in April, and now, it's bringing it to Malaysia, the first ever in Asia!

speech by Managing Director of LEGOLAND Parks Hans Aksel Pedersen
Set to be opened to public in November this year, LEGO NINJAGO: The Ride will be housed in a brand new section of the Park called NINJAGO World.

LEGO NINJAGO: The Ride features Maestro hand gesture technology that enable guests to control the outcome of their adventure through the power hands without the use of a hand-held device. The attraction is set to be a 4D dark ride inspired by the popular LEGO line of NINJAGO toys and a related TV series. Riders play as Ninja warriors in training under the guidance of NINJAGO character Master Wu to vanquish a legion of enemies from snake tribes, ghost and skeletons to the Great Devourer.

Through the use of 3D imagery, high-tech sensors and the use of hand movements in a striking motion, up to four riders per car can act like ninja warriors blasting animated fireballs, lighting, shockwaves and ice as they travel through dojos to master their skills before heading the battle. It's exciting as riders can collect points for their training and battle efforts throughout the rides and scores are displayed when their quest is completed. Exciting as I am sure my sons will be interest to sit on these rides.

The 4D effect such as heat, smoke and win are incorporated throughout the adventure, giving guests the ultimate interactive experience.

performance at the event.

With the launch of this attraction being LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort's largest addition over the past four years, it continues to support the Resort's belief and commitment to ensure that guests continue to be entertained with their family with new excitements.
