These products were introduced in AkzoNobel’s first virtual launch in Malaysia, where Oscar Wezenbeek, Managing Director of AkzoNobel Decorative Paints, South East and South Asia said: “As a responsible corporate citizen, we are committed to giving back to the community. To this effect, we have run many initiatives under the AkzoNobel Cares banner, where we strive to transform communities and have a positive impact on society. The Secure Home, Inside Out campaign fits perfectly under this banner because every community begins at a household level.

David Teng, Commercial Director of AkzoNobel Decorative Paints Southeast Asia Pacific, said: “We have a passion for paint here at AkzoNobel, and because of this, we are continuously enhancing our offerings. Both the Dulux EasyCleanTM range and Dulux Weathershield® products have been in the market for many years now, but we are constantly updating our formula, and this has brought us to the launch of these products here today.

“The new Dulux EasyCleanTM formula, besides providing protection against common household stains, now aids toi nhibit the growth of bacteria. EasyCleanTMPlus even adds protection against viruses.

The new Dulux Weathershield®, on the other hand, offers two times the amount of protection against algae and fungus, colour fading, alkali, dirt and dust, when compared to a regular exterior paint. Together, they provide excellent protection on the inside and outside of your home.”A safer and cleaneri nterior When applied correctly, Dulux EasyCleanTM paint creates a protective layer that effectively resists and repels most liquid stains, such as sodas, fruit juices, dark soy sauce, chilli and ketchup, as well as stains created by chalk, dust and mud. Additionally, the protective layer prevents the growth of bacteria as well, turning any interior into a safe environment for the whole family.

The Dulux EasyCleanTM range comes with ColourguardTM Technology, which helps walls to remain vibrant for longer. There are more than 2,000 colour optionsto choose from. This range of paint will be joined by another selection known as Dulux EasyCleanTM Plus, which offers anti-viral properties as well.It is equipped with KidProof+ Technology, which offers a higher level of protection against tough stains and also inhibits the 2growth of bacteria. More importantly, it comes with Silver Ion Technology, which protects against certain virus.

A paint to weather the elements

To help homeowners secure the exterior of their homes, there’s Dulux Weathershield®. Its secret comes in the form of DualshieldTM Technology, which is a combination of four unique features that help combat common damage that plague exterior walls.

The first is Smart ReleaseTM Technology, which offers 2x longer protection against algae and fungus by continuously releasing micro-particles onto the paint surface to prevent the growth of algae and fungus. TWith an added layer of protection by Damp ResistTMTechnology, which is a unique formulation of tough polymers to help resist alkali attacks easily alkali attacks are often caused by moisture and alkali salt being trapped in the layers of the wall itself. When these make it to the surface, damage can be done to the paint, often causing white patches and an uneven paint surface.

The other two features are Stay CleanTM Technology, which is a protective layer that does not allow dirt anddust to accumulate on the surface of the wall; and ColourLockTMTechnology, which helps to combat colour fading thanks to a strong bond between the paint molecules.

Both Dulux EasyCleanTM and Dulux Weathershield® are now available for purchase at selected authorised Dulux retail outlets. These products will be joined by the new Dulux EasyCleanTMPluslater in 2021.

GUARDIAN HELPS NEEDY & CUSTOMERS TO STAY SAFE DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way we live and threatens the population especially the vulnerable and the needy.

Recognising the fact that we need to take care of ourselves (#KitaJagaKita) and being a caring and socially responsible corporate citizen, Guardian Malaysia has initiated a charity campaign to equip the needy and its loyal customers with sanitisers - an important essential - to enable them to maintain high levels of personal hygiene to stay safe.

Anna Ng, Retail Marketing Director, Guardian Health And Beauty, Malaysia and Singapore said:

“We are extremely aware of how important and essential it is to keep our hands clean in the fight against the spread of Covid-19. Apart from our loyal customers, none are more vulnerable than the less-privileged and the needy, such as the elderly and children in welfare homes. This campaign is one way of helping to make sure both our customers and the needy have effective hand sanitisers to clean their hands and maintain hygiene.”

“Called the ‘Guardian Healthy Beauty from the Heart’ campaign, we will be distributing 15,000 bottles to our customers and 14 charity homes and organizations throughout Malaysia and would be enlisting our customers to participate in this worthy cause,” she added.

To kick-start the campaign Guardian Malaysia will distribute about 3,000 bottles of hand sanitisers to the selected charity organizations beginning early December.

“Then beginning December 16, we will roll out the initiative at our stores and also our online store at www.guardian.com.my whereby customers who spend RM40 and above in a single receipt will receive a complimentary bottle of hand sanitiser.

“They will have the option to donate their bottle of hand sanitiser to the charity home or organisation selected in their respective states where their Guardian store is located.

“All they need to do is to scan the QR code in the Campaign poster displayed at their store and pass the bottle back to our staff who will then collect the bottles for onward distribution to the charity organisation identified in their state. We have allocated 12,000 bottles of sanitisers for our customers’ participation,” Anna said.

This in-store campaign will run for a week from December 16 to December 20, 2020 or until stocks run out.

“We urge our customers who come to our stores to take part in this charity drive and make it a success as this is a time where we should take care of one another,” Anna said.

Tips For Choosing A Boarding Stable You Can Trust

If you are thinking about buying a horse and don't have your own stable, you may be tasked with looking for a local boarding stable you can trust. You don't want your horse to be placed somewhere where it won't be safe. Below are some tips to take into consideration when comparing different boarding stables in your area before you make your decision.

Quality Of Care

Your top concern when choosing a boarding stable should be the health and safety of your beloved horse. When you check out any stable, be sure to look at the health of the other horses being boarded. Is the feed and hay top quality? Do you notice there is fresh water available? Is there enough space for the number of horses at the stables to be comfortable? A good stable will also have the proper type of wood horse jumps for the horses to use. They should be high quality from sellers like the one found at www.olddominionjumps.com.

Safety

When inspecting stables, you will also want to ensure your horse will be safe while staying there. All fences, windows, ceilings, stalls and doors in the stables should be safe and free of any hazards. Any fences outside of the stables should be sturdy enough to keep the horses in and not in need of repairs. The property should also have a phone, fire extinguishers and a first aid kit available for both the horses and caretakers to use in the event of an emergency.

Cost

Another factor you must consider when searching for a stable is the cost. Each stable will vary with regards to how much they charge for boarding your horse. Oftentimes, the fees will reflect the popularity of the stable and what it has to offer. You will have to figure out how much you can afford.
These are just a few of the things taken into consideration when searching for a stable to keep your horse at. You want to ensure your horse is happy, healthy and well taken care of. The decision of choosing a boarding stable is not always an easy one.
