Be Kind to Yourself

Overwork, overextending yourself with obligations and a busy family life can lead to stress. It can also deprive you of some much-needed personal time. Setting aside time to relax or to do something enjoyable and nice for yourself can ease stress, make you more productive at work and improve your general mood.

Quiet Time

One reason for writing appointments on your calendar or setting reminders on your phone is to assure that you don’t forget obligations. To assure that you don’t neglect yourself, write quiet time on your schedule. Try making it a daily occurrence. Use that time to read, nap, write, draw, color, take a walk alone or with the dog or do something that is mentally and physically relaxing.

Fun Days

You can be kind to yourself by scheduling in fun days. These days can be used to do whatever makes you happy. A shopping trip, a visit to a local art gallery, attending a concert or movie or any other enjoyable activity can be considered a fun day activity. You might want to use this day to visit someone you haven’t seen in a while. Taking a gift such as an angel wing hoop earrings, a plant, flowers or a special food item to them could be something that makes both of you happy.

Pamper Yourself
There're lots of acts of kindness you can do for yourself to brighten your day, ease your stress or make you feel special. Wearing a piece of jewelry that symbolizes hope, love and faith can inspire and encourage you throughout the day. Picking up some flowers for yourself on your way home can make your house more cheerful and brighten your day. Order a gift basket for yourself. When it arrives, you’ll feel as special as any gift recipient would.

There’s nothing heroic about staying so busy you never have time for yourself. There’s nothing selfish about claiming a portion of a day or week as personal time. Being kind to yourself can have a positive impact on your daily life.

New creation of cell phone charm

As some of you might notice that I am busy with the contest that I am taking part. I also take some time off to create this cell phone charm.

Dragon jewelry?

I wore this yesterday and my mom saw it. She says it is beautiful dragon jewelry that I made. She has not put on her glasses. Do you think it looks like a dragon?

It is made of swarovski crystal, the colour I like it so much so shiny! Sometimes you think it sparkle in the night. LOL

Three in one style pendant

I like to make use of my jewellery and I decided to make one that can be use two ways. Above you are looking at the heart bracelet, well take a look at another picture for the difference. Other than putting it on the bracelet, I can also use it on the ribbon necklace.

I know some people want a different look of the jewelry, well check out the cute doll with the pendant. If you have your own necklace you can also slip it, it will depend on the clasp part whether it is too big or not. Mine is using the lobster claw clasp, you don't see there is problem there.

Busy with knots!

Yeah you are reading this correctly, I love to learn about beading and there is more than that. Now there is knot to learn so many steps I need to take baby step to learn.

Online business are doing so well?

I saw some bloggers did a good job online business like selling seconded hand toys or items. Even for jewelry people are really buying them. I think they will see the price and quality as well. For seconded hand I doubt they are in good condition. Some wrecked seconded hand can be selling for RM50 because of the brand.

I was looking for some friends so I know the price of that. Anyway what do you think of online business? Some talented blogger with design platform knows how to earn money. I do think have the skill at all. So I might just want to try on accessories like jewelry.

Jewelry Design Open House

I think if you are in Singapore you will not want to miss out this Jewelry Design Open House on 14 June at 3 pm to 5pm. Do you know that this is Jewelry Design and Management International School? So sad it is so far away from me if not I will love to attend.

If you are going to the Open House you stand the chance to get the door gift and lucky draw! Imagine how fun you are going to have there. I think making jewelry is not easy task but if you love making them you have no problem at all.
