Ah Boys to Men 4: Kena Called Back!

I love comedy movie, and I love to watch Ah Boys To Men movies. I have been watching their movie since the Ah Boys To Men 1 started. Familiar faces that we will see in this movie are Sergeant Ong, Lobang, Aloysius, and Ken Chow. I enjoy watching the movie from the start to the end, I cannot stop laughing and the joy of watching this movie reminded me of the punishment by teacher in class during my primary school days.

Singapore's most successful movie franchise is back! After completion of their full-time national service stints, Sergeant Ong, Lobang, Aloysius, and Ken Chow. They were all busy with their respective career as civilians. When they are called back for in-camp training in an SAF Armour unit, the boys must juggle between work and their duties as operationally - ready national servicemen.

Hilarious situation happen when they are back training together and their military roles reversed. New enemy threat arise as their brotherhood is put to the test. Not just that there's woman in the military how are they going to handle her? She is Apple Chan playing the role of Lieutenant Zhang Xin Yi in Ah Boys to Men 4.

Let's watch this movie with family as my sons love the Ah Boys To Men movies too. It will be a good comedy movie to watch with loved ones, Singapore film that contains of English, Mandarin, Singlish language and consists of subtitle to read if you do not understand the Hokkien language.

Mermaid Movie Stephen Chow

It's Monday and my son today attended school wearing Chinese New Year outfit. After the school, I bring him to Sunway Pyramid to purchase movie ticket of Mermaid Movie Stephen Chow. An adult cost RM20 and child RM9 for each ticket. The movie is rated PG13, suitable for my son as I am watching with him. It's special day to date my son because tomorrow is his birthday.

We went to TGV Cinema first to queue up for purchase the movie ticket. We like to watch Stephen Chow movies and this movie is directed by Stephen Chow. It's interesting and entertaining movie, we enjoy it from start to the end. The movie is related to sea, money and wealth.

Who doesn't like money? Even if you have gain a lot of money but if you are not having clean air to breath in what is the use of it. It is true, it is just like every year we are experiencing haze in the month of September and October.

Well back to the movie, it's related to sea world and living. Don't always think about the profit of earning money but the earth and world that we are living in. It's a nice movie to watch as related to mermaid that fall in love with human kind.

Movie Review: Mr.Unbelievable

Happy New Year, it's the second week my children started schooling and kindergarten.

A little time off for myself and my dear, so we head for a movie.

On Monday night , attended the premiere screening of Mr.Unbelieveable.

The movie release date is 14 January 2016, this movie running time is 93 minutes.

If you like to watch oldies movies, this is suitable for you. 

Eric Kwek Hock Seng loves to sing, he's born on 9 August 1965, same date as national day of Singapore. Language in the movie consists of Chinese, English and various dialects (Hokkien and Mandarin). 

Eric raised in a predominantly dialect and Mandarin-speaking environment. 

Eric decided to change Chinese songs to English lyrics because "Ge-tai" business not doing well.

This movie is interesting and encourage, it encourages everyone to believe and persist in your aspirations no matter how old you are. Undeterred, Eric Kwek sets off on a musical journey that sees little awards. He resolve finally pays off at age 50.

The songs in the movie, brings back childhood memories to my dear and me as the songs sound familiar. It's a comedy movie that brings you laughter too. 

Jurassic World is a must watch!

It's Friday evening and I am glad that I bring my mom and son for a movie date before the school starts. June's holiday maybe over soon, if you are heaving to Genting Highlands and interest to check out Genting International Children's Festival do click on the link.

It's a movie date with them as son has no interest to watch horror movie, so dinosaurs movie would be the best entertainment for adults and kids. I am glad this movie gives my mom and son a fun filled feeling from start to the end of the movie.

My favorite actors are in this movie, they are Chris Pratt and Ty Simpkins. It's heart beating fast movie where you'll see new dinosaur, it's named Indomimus Rex it's fierce and it's big best of all it change its colour just like frog? This new species of dinosaur is not suppose to exist but someone wanted it bigger and better or something new in the theme park, so they created this beast/monster! This intelligent Indomimus Rex escape the cage, you got to see this movie to find out how. Nobody knows that's going to happen.

Jurassic World where you see parents get to see their child riding on live dinosaurs, no kidding, they get to pet the dinosaur feeding it without being bitten. Well, do you think all dinosaurs are tame? How about raptors?

How two brothers and their aunt going to escape the island? Well they are not alone in the island of dinosaurs, an animal expert (Chris Pratt) is there to help. The two brothers were send by their parents to the dinosaur islands as they feel that it's a family time for them to catch up with their aunt who is working in the dinosaur island. It's bonding time for the brothers too as the young brother (Ty Simpkins) he's got the feeling that their parents going to divorce because they have send each other with letters from different lawyer. He knows about it as he google it up on Internet.

Huge water dinosaur, that gulp up a shark during feeding time. This Jurassic World would makes you to want watch Jurassic Park on how it all begins.

This movie is PG13, it's 2 hours 10 minutes movie. I would like to watch it again!

For your info, I bought the movie tickets in GSC Midvalley each adult ticket RM17, child around RM9. I suggest don't go to GSC Signature the Gardens unless you are willing to spend minimum RM30 on a ticket or RM79 for a gold class ticket!

Movie review: SPY *Melissa McCarthy

If you love to watch action and comedy movie this Spy movie is entertaining, however this movie is suitable for age of 18 years old above.

Melissa McCarthy is working on the desk assisting a CIA agent named Bradley Fine (Jude Law), her name is Susan Cooper. One day, Bradley Fine is shot dead on a mission, Susan decided to volunteer to be part of the CIA's mission that's becoming one of the agent. It's not easy task for her as she's given a few new identities. Jason Statham as Rick Ford, wanted to revenge for his CIA's colleague. He believes in there's face changing machine that he can undergoes to change his face. It's so funny that he's being prank by other agents.

I got scare in the movie, it's not a scary movie but somehow I got scared in a part where Susan Cooper in Paris. 

Susan wants to revenge for Bradley Fine's death, it's all in the jet. You gonna laugh it out loud if you watched it. Susan rides to different type of scooters in the movie. 

What's secret weapons for a CIA agent Susan Cooper? It's all with funny names, I'm not gonna say more about it, you gonna watch it to know more.

There's a big bird in the movie, go watch the movie to find out who she is.

There's girls fight in the movie, where Susan Cooper fought with a pretty girl (Morena Baccarin). The movie involved many foul languages. Overall this movie I find it nice and funny, if you like actress Melissa McCarthy, this move is definitely suitable for you. 

Movie Review: Cinderrella

Spoiler Alert!

I am sure you have many childhood movies, can you remember Cinderella? I recalled watching the animation of Cinderella when I was young. 

I enjoy watching Cinderella with my dear, this movie is suitable for kids to watch too. We enjoy the movie from start to the end. Cinderella actual named is Ella, Cinderella named given by her by her step sisters. She became an orphan when her dad passed away, before that was her mom. Her mom told her always be courage and be kind in her life. She listened to her advice but things never go her way, but she never gives up. In the movie, involved of a big pumpkin, two lizards, a goose and four mouses. Cinderella didn't leave the house, her step mother and step sisters continue living there after her dad passed away. 

If you love fashion show, you'll find this movie nice to watch because many beautiful dresses you can see especially during the ball. 

There is some comedy in the movie, which makes everyone of us having a good laugh. 

My friend asked me to do movie review for this movie as she worries the movie will be suitable for her suitable to watch. I know what she means some movies just twist and turn the story which making it ridiculous or not worth watching. No worry friend, this movie is suitable for children to watch.

School holiday will be a great time to spend with family to watch this movie.

NIght at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb

This school holiday, have you plan anything interesting to do with your kids? I bring son to watch Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. I found out that Cathay Cineplexes no longer using their member card too, so you can throw the card away or keep sake the card if you like.

Son and I enjoy the movie from start to the end. How Ben Stiller going to save his friends and the museum to continue live in the nights?! In this movie you can find the other twin of Ben Stiller, yeah they look so much alike. The tablet in the museum is losing its energy and tablet with fungus growing on it. Something bad is happening and soon end the night at the museum. Ben Stiller with interest to save the tablet and his friends, he seek permission to bring tablet to another museum. Some of his friends from the museum tag along, find out how they helped each other when they are facing hard time.

Rebel Wilson is the security guard in another museum, she's funny! I love her movie in Pitch Perfect, all girls singing group. Who can forget that?

You'll need to watch Night at the Museum 1 and 2, in order to know more of this movie. It's a sequence of their movie, that you don't want to be feel left out.

November is almost over, what have you plan for your children next month? It's still school holiday don't waste it as it's time for you to spend time with your children. 

My son likes the movie, he enjoy the movie from start to the end. 

Private the cute one, he's the last to hatch. 

Private is not just cute, he's more than that. 

Somehow a sentence which I don't think all children will know.

"Nicholas cage them" 

Nicholas Cage is a famous actor, if you have been watching his movie. Anyway, it may not mean anything for children who doesn't know him. 

Anyway movie is entertaining when comes to Dave who wants to ruin other life of penguins because he was once famous but no longer. He was being replacement by Penguins. He was put away and move away to other places..

Interstellar movie review

Few days ago, I brought my dear and my son for a movie night. It is Interstellar movie, awesome movie to watch if you like science fiction movie which related to outer space! It's even better if you love the actress Anne Hathaway. Awesome actor Matthew McConaughey as Cooper, that you gonna love to watch from start to the end of movie.

I watched the IMAX at TGV 1 Utama, I won the movie passes from TalkFLIM Facebook. It's an awesome 3 hours movie, the sound effects are good in IMAX.

This movie is PG13, 169 minutes. From this movie, you'll find out how precious time are.

You can see many haze cloud in the movie, frozen ice, outer space, the black hole. There are many talks on gravity and ghost in the movie. Is there a ghost in the little girl room? Cooper is going to leave behind his son and daughter, leaving behind his father-in-law to take care the children for him. How is he going to save the kids or the people from earth?

How Cooper with his team, travel from one planet to another planet? Who is going to survive coming back to earth? Time and gravity is ticking every second, the seconds/minutes/hours/years spend are faster in the outer space. In outer space, you have no oxygen, it's breath taking moment when I saw Cooper left with no oxygen, who's going to help him?! Watch this movie to find out.

Thick haze cloud coming in the town, people getting lesser food to eat, no where to go. How can they survive the thick haze? It's so thick just like thick sands covering up the car/house.


Talking of this movie, a guy next to me puts on heavy colon that I can't breath well in my seat. He puts on too much of colon that he can't even sit still himself, keeps moving forward and backward and talking to his friends.

Movie review: Kungfu Jungle

If you love kungfu/martial arts movie and Donnie Yen, you will like this movie.

In the movie it is all about fighting and movie rated 18 yr above only. Because the fighting is not just about normal fight but also fight to death as one person whats to be the master of the kungfu, he challenges everyone to fight til death. Only the alive will be consider as champion.

The fighting consists of strength of legs, hands, etc. It's interesting movie where you get to know more about the skill of martial arts. 

Donnie Yen was sentence to 5 yrs of jail as he killed someone, he then saw the TV news that his friend died. Result of death of his friend was brutally beaten to death. 

Yeah kung fu can be deadly weapon! Find out how the super bad guy (Wang Baojang) can defeat many people at one time! He's the killer, he aimed those best in martial arts to challenge each of them fight to the death! Even they didn't want to fight him because they no longer participate in martial arts just living normal life, but he insists of fighting them.. 

He gone crazy as he found out his wife is dying due to cancer. :( 

Many actress and actors in the movie, you may find them familiar faces because they were part of oldies kung fu/martial arts movies.

I enjoy watching this movie from start to the end! 

Psst.. Wang Baujang is the one that participated in Running Man too. 

KRISTY movie: CAMPUS ALONE!!

If you have seen Home Alone movie, you'll like this movie which is for 18 yr old above.

I had a date with my dear last night to watch this movie KRISTY. Name of movie is KRISTY because a gang started killing good gal and named those gal as KRISTY even though the gals name is not KRISTY. Many gals were killed and video taped and uploaded... this is sick I know.. 

A gal named Justine is going to spend Thanksgiving holiday alone time at her campus while her friends all back for their Thanksgiving holiday. Her friend Nicole, supposed to stay with Justine but she left too so she left behind her BMW car for Justine to use. One night Justine decided to go out to nearest Mart to purchase items. The nightmare starts from there, apparently she was mark for being nice and pretty by a stranger. 

The stranger is a gal with strange attitude, she starts calling Justine by Kristy! 

The night where the stranger gang are out for Justine, they want to kill her. So Justine is alone in Campus. There is a guard in the campus, another guard at the guard house. Will they survive?

Justine has boyfriend, he too left her campus alone though that someone is with her but he came back for her! 

How Justine is going to fight back when nobody is there to help her? 

Haley Bennett as Justine in the movie, bravo I like this movie very much. 

Yeah violence in this movie and killing too so it's not suitable for 18yr and below.

Just one thing I don't like about this movie is the noise of the movie, I find it very noisy and irritating. Not all of it but some of it, well I enjoy waching this movie from start to the end. 

The Equalizer movie review

Yesterday is a movie night with my dear, the movie #TheEqualizer.

In the movie The Equalizer, Denzel Washing plays Robert McCall, He works in Home Mart, he trained help train a friend named Ralphie as security guard. He didn't give up training Ralphie, as Ralphie almost give up himself, he tried his best and keep training everyday. 

Robert met a prostitute named Alina, she was beaten up by her client but it didn't stop there. She got beaten up badly by pimp until she admitted ICU hospital. Robert wanted to help Alina, 

Robert has a hard time to sleep at night, there was time he didn't sleep at all.

What is secret identity of  Robert McCall? 

The bad guy is after him as he killed five bad people, Teddy a man with body fulled with evil/devil tattoo is going to hunt down Robert, will he succeed? Teddy with skilled of hunting people down and he gets what he wants. Especially answers he wants to know. 

Movie is rated 18 above as consist of violent and many f*ck words being used.

We enjoy the movie, it's a good movie to watch.

The Boxtrolls movie review

When Trouble Strikes Friends Stack Together

This week, we watched two movie premiere animation and son the lucky one that watch movie with me. You gonna love this movie if you love boxes, cheeses, hats.

The Boxtrolls, our favourite characters are Eggs and Fish. A baby boy is given to Boxtrolls to care because his dad was threaten by others. The red hat wanted to his dad to do something but he refused so red hat says he will take away his son from him. The baby boy is named Eggs because he's wearing box written Eggs. 

Boxtrolls is difference species of people living underground, they wear boxes in their life and never remove them. They are not human, they have different way of speech. Only Eggs can communicate with them, Eggs understands them. 

You'll see many hats in the movie and cheese to. You'll see white hat that loves his cheese so much, that he needs to choose between his cheese and daughter. 

How Eggs going to save his friends/family from the red hat?! 

We enjoy the movie from the start to the end. It's not scary movie, my son is not afraid to watch this movie.

Son nonstop saying the bad guy red hat... 

It's my first time to see someone in the movie allergy to cheese, but show how he still wants to force himself to eat or is he didn't know he has allergy reaction towards cheese? 

Personally, I love boxes and they are many boxes in my rooms.

Planes Fire & Rescue movie review

Yesterday is a movie night for son and me, above is my toddler holding up the stickers of Planes Fire & Rescue. We enjoy the movie from the start to the end of it.

If you love Planes movie, you'll like this it's more interesting and exciting this time where the fire fighters strive to rescue the cars and train. 

How Dusty the champion changed to be a firefighter? 

Something is wrong with Dusty's engine, he needs it replacement badly.

Dipper falls in love with Dusty, she loves watching him sleep.

A huge fire starts in the forest, how Dusty and his team mates going to save them all?

In this movie, you'll see many team work of firefighters.

A question that Dusty asked one of the firefighter team, how to get their picture up the wall. 

In this movie, Dusty make new friends in with many firefighter, he learns how to fly low and high to collect water, etc. It's not easy task being a firefighter, he nearly lost a friend in the incident.

Movie is rated PG13. 

Guardians of the Galaxy*hilarious

Two days ago, it was mother and son night out where we get to watch Guardians of the Galaxy thanks to Churp Churp. Movie is rated PG13.

He's been waiting to watch this movie anxiously and we have same favourite character that's Groot! 

I think this movie is gonna be fun to watch with children who likes Marvel, my son and I enjoy the movie from start to the end of it. There's less blood spill in the movie so no hurry bring your children to watch. 

Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, he was a young boy kidnapped by alien in space ship outside the hospital. 

Zoe Saldana as Gamora, she's in green color skin. 

Dave Bautista as Drax, body fulled of tattoo, he's the muscle guy. 

Bradly Cooper with the voice of Rocket, a raccoon that can talk and loves making bomb, etc.  

Vin Diesel voice of Groot, the tree with big heart, his favourite line I am Groot.

Find out how they team up to fight Ronan, as Ronan wants his orb back. The orb was stolen by Peter who also known as Starlord. He wants to save Xander from Ronan destroying it. 

My favourite part of movie was how Rocket lying to Peter that he needs a fake leg in the jail. Rocket can be so funny... he even mentioned of an eye! Watch it to find out.. 

Peter Quill has his very own space ship, he was wrongly called as Star Prince instead of Starlord. 

Find out how Xander trying to avoid Ronan's space ship looked to enter its ground.

In this movie is where Peter Quill find out that he's half man and half alien, he's mom is from earth but his dad is not. 

22 Jump Street, good laugh

Yesterday with my classmate to watch the premiere movie 22 Jump Street, we didn't watch 21 Jump Street but the movie 22 Jump Street had us laugh from start to the end of movie. You got to sit back and enjoy the movie, even the movie is over they are many funny parts you don't want to miss out.

Jonah Hill as Schmidt, Channing Tatum as Jenko, Amber Stevens as Maya, Nick Offerman as Deputy Chief Hardy, Ice Cube as Captain Dickson, Jillian Bell as Mercedes

How Schmidt and Jenko going to team up together to find the drug dealer at the college they need to go. They need to get start by finding the guy with tattoo on his arm. They are living together in the room but things happen when Jenko found a new bff which share the same interest as him. They becomes best buddy instantly that left out Schmidt. The drug named WhyPhy, the drug that killed a student.

Funny part of movie was the giant octopus that didn't want go of Schmidt face. Another funny part of him I find is when he's fighting with Mercedes. They were having fist fighting and Mercedes try to kiss him, and she non stop teasing him fighting like a gal. Where Schmidt kept his grenade and the moment where Jenko needs to reach out to grab it. Many more, you got to watch it to know it.

The movie is rating 18 above because of many foul language, alcohol, gun shootings, etc.

Deliver Us from Evil movie review

Yesterday night, my friend and I watched Deliver Us from Evil, NY Police special officer Ralph Sarchie (Eric Bana) and his colleague investigate on crimes scenes. Sacrhie has a family, he has a wife and a six year old daughter. 

Three soldiers go for war and something happen in the tunnel they entered, one of the solders had video but it suddenly blackout and one of the soldier scream. After the war, they came back differently, they acted different and was dispelled form the military. They open a painting job together, it's more than just painting they are doing. One of them painted a wall in the zoo, he then disappeared when Sarchie enter there to find him for questioning then appears two lions. Sarchie and his colleague head to the zoo because one woman missing from there after she tossed her toddler in the ravene. 

Something about Sarchie that attracted the evil attentions?! He can hear voices and seeing things... 

In this movie my friend and I got scare twice, truly this movie is not for weak heart people to watch. 

The rating of movie 18 above because they have violence in the movie, the involvement of killing, eating flesh, etc. 

Indeed this is a good movie to watch, if you love horror movies check this out.

Evidence movie preview screening

I won two passes to watch Evidence preview screening. I watched with my friend, it's horror movie of video footage for killing people. So you know this is 18 above movie, if you like games like shooting or targeting you may like this movie. There's lot spinning in the movie which makes me dizzy lucky I didn't feel any vomit throughout the movie. 

It's an interesting movie, you can never find out who are the killer in the movie? It's best you watch it find out, we got scared too in the movie, the silence and darkness. 

A massacre killing innocent people, the bus six people who are heading to Las Vegas but the bus driver drove them somewhere else off the road, something happen to the bus and they walked towards abandon gas station. It was getting late and there's nobody there to help them. Soon one by one passenger gets killed.

Evidence is what you need to find out who is the killer?! 

We watched the movie in GSC 1, Utama. There are no subtitle in the movie. 

Movie review: Godzilla 2014

Yesterday night was mother and son movie night. I won two premiere passes to watch Godzilla 2014. Son told me that this movie is the real Godzilla and the Godzilla 1998 was the dinosaur not Godzilla. 

Ford loses his mom when he was young, the day he try putting a birthday celebration for his dad. After 15 years, he has his very own family. He has a son and a wife. 

In Godzilla 2014, they are one Godzilla and two huge monster insect. The male has wings and it can fly, while the female without wings carried many eggs. It was the mating season for two insects. Guess where's the female choose to lay her eggs. Japan, San Francisco, Hawaii? 

They are fight between Godzilla and two monster insects. Who will win the fight? 

My son can't stop talking about the movie, even this morning.

Movie Review: Filial Party

The premiere screening invitation to watch Filial Party, it's Singapore movie speaking of mix languages of Hokkien, Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Tamil. This movie is PG13, suitable for parents to watch with children. It's a reality TV show that brings 24 families together to win to awesome money, only 3 families to be selected for winning the money.

The prize money of one million dollars for whoever success in being the most filial child to their parents. Each family if given a test, who will win?

It's a movie of tears and joy, after finished watching the movie while dear is paying the parking ticket. I saw a man sitting at bench rubbing his teary eye, while calling someone on the phone.

The movie is about filial to your parents. Don't wait til they are gone to say or do anything with them, as simple as having a meal with them or just to call to say hi.
