GUARDIAN MALAYSIA CROWNS 4 WOMEN AS 'THE FACE OF HEALTHY BEAUTY'

Guardian Malaysia held its Grand Finals on last Saturday at Central I-City, there are 16 grand finalists to become 'The Face of Healthy Beauty' and to be its brand ambassadors. These 16 grand finalists were picked from a nation-wide quest that saw over 1,000 entries for this contest including making it pass 400 shortlisted candidates and 100 semi-finalists from 4 different regions in Malaysia.

2. Nur Aimi Binti Abdul Ghani, 31
3. Nurul Ezzaty Binti Hasbullah, 23
4. Yasmin Binti Khalid, 23

  
For these four women, life will never be the same again.

Each winner will sign a one-year contract as Guardian Brand Ambassador that comes with RM10, 000 cash. RM10, 000 Guardian vouchers, and RM5, 000 each for them to give to a charity organization of their choice. They will be featured on the Cover of Guardian's Brand Catalogues and other collaterals and will receive products from participating sponsors.

So the 16 grand finalists you see today all qualify to be Guardian's Face of Healthy Beauty - someone who lives life for the fullest in a healthy way, and has a distinctive style and pleasant personality. She is someone with a positive attitude, gives priority to being healthy first; and looks after her physical beauty too."

Cho added; "As mentioned in our launch over two months ago, this search for The Face of Healthy Beauty is NOT a Beauty contest. They will be become the living examples of Guardian's brand philosophy that good health is the foundation of true beauty and will help us spread this message to our customers."

Touted as the first-of-its-kind in Malaysia, this search for 'The Face of Healthy Beauty' was open to all Malaysian females aged 18 years and above.

One hundred (100) shortlisted participants were selected to attend the semi-finals at Johor Bharu City Square, Gurney Plaza Penang, Central I-City Mall Shah Alam and 1 Borneo Hypermall Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Four semi-finalists from each region were chosen to attend the Grand Finals in Shah Alam on 27 July 2019.

 In addition to the four winners, there will be eight category winners to be awarded by sponsors. These are:
Most Healthy (Blackmores),
Most Elegant (Bio-essensce),
Most Youthful (Garnier),
Most Expressive Eyes (L'oreal),
Most Passionate (Maybelline),
Most Confident (Nivea),
Most Cheerful (Safi) and
Most Charming (TRESemme)

Guardian customers could also vote, from 8 July - 24 July 2019 on the contest microsite, for their favorite finalist to win at the Grand Finals. Their votes contributed 50% of the total scores at the Grand Finals.

If that particular contestant wins in the Grand Finals, then she will do a draw to pick her lucky voter. A total 4 draws will be done. Each winner will pick 1 voter. The selected voter will e rewaded with RM500 worth of Guardian vouchers.

Celebriti Beauty Studio: Facial Whitening Chocolate


It's Monday, I took time off for myself today as my sons are not schooling today. Tomorrow they will be back to school and I will be back with my busy parenting, it's important to take time off to pamper myself. I went Celebriti Beauty Studio which is located at Shah Alam. It is easy to go there by waze, I use waze all the way there. 

There's a few rooms at the studio, this is the biggest room that can accommodate up to five customers at one time. Imagine you having your best friend together with you to do facial together.
 

 First thing the staff give me a form to fill in my details. Then I was advice to go restroom first before get start the facial. I changed to my robe before having the Facial Whitening Chocolate, it's very yummy smell that you would want to take a bite on it!

I didn't take much photos there as I am there to enjoy my pampering time, the process is about two hours. There are steps facial wash, scrub, wash, then steam after that to remove the white heads from face. I was shown a cotton with lots of my white heads. A machine was use for putting on serum on face. You'll be relax and enjoy throughout the process.

 It's value for money, RM68 for one pax, and RM120 for two pax. You can make appointment with your best friend for this facial session. Enjoy together, and stay pretty together. The normal price for the Facial Whitening Chocolate is RM128.

Suria Jaya's Anchor Signing Ceremony with Mydin Mart


Ancubic Capital Sdn Bhd, the developer of Suria Jaya, Seksyen 16 Shah Alam, Selangor announced on 4 October that it has entered into lease agreements with Tri Shaas Sdn Bhd. which operates as Mydin Mart, one of MYDIN franchises as their anchor tenant. MYDI, a home grown company is one of the largest and well established retail in Malaysia. Two Mydin Mart outlets owned by Tri Shaas Sdn Bhd. were opened in Shah Alam which are located at Seksyen 18 (August 2017) and Sri Muda (June 2010). This is third franchise and tentatively open by end of 2016. Mydin Mart is the first few retail larger format that offers non-food items and later extended to include fresh & green goods such as meat, vegetables, fruits etc. The signing of the auspicious event was conducted by YBhg. Dato' B.A. Low, the Managing Director of Ancubic Capital Sdn. Bhd., of the Suria Jaya Retail Center and the representative of Mydin Mart, Tuan Siraj Pyar Ali, the Managing Director of Tri Shaas Sdn Bhd. and witness by YBhg. Datuk Wira (Dr.) Haji Ameer Ali Mydn, the Managing Director Mohamed Holdings Bhd. at Ancubic Capital Gallery located in Shah Alam, Selangor on 4 October. 

Officially signed as an anchor tenant with Ancubic at Suria Jaya e-sofo. This Mydin Mart will be the third outlet under Tri Shaas Sdn Bhd. at Shah Alam.
Ancubic Capital is the developer of Suria Jaya, a free-hold mixed development comprising of small and flexible offices Podium known as e-Sofo and Commercial Podium known as Retail Centre on the Land. Ancubic Group of Companies' business involvement includes Property Development, Investment Holdings and Construction Management. Suria Jaya e-SOFO is a 22 stories high rise building comprise of ground floor and first floor of retail known as Suria Jaya at Seksyen 16, Shah Alam, Selangor. Mydin Mart will lease from Ancubic Capital a total over 20,000 net square feet retail space in retail centre-based store located in Seksyen 16, Shah Alam, Selangor. The space is expected to be delivered to Mydin Mart by the end of the year, sits under 479 SOFO units from the smallest units' size of 430 square feet to over 800 square feet per unit. This particular hypermarket has a unique format comprising of four retail category components such as food retail, fashion, beauty services and general retail & services. The food retail section will occupy over 11,000 net square feet on the lower level, while fashion, beauty services, general retail and services section will occupy over approximately 9,000 net square feet on the upper level. By having Mydin Mart within the area, it will be convenient for the nearby blue collars workforce and parents of the nearby schools to meet their daily groceries needs. The opening of Mydin Mart at SURIA JAYA also is expected to add 400 jobs to the local economy as well as create more business opportunities within the area.

Suria Jaya is developed by Ancubic Capital Sdn Bhd on a 87,120 sq.ft freehold land is easily noticed with just a mere 5 minutes' drive from the federal highway. PLAZA SHAH ALAM PRESENTS THE SPECTACULAR PENCARIAN WANITA MELAYU 2016 FINALS!

Last Saturday, Plaza Shah Alam’s annual beauty pageant, Pencarian Wanita Melayu (PWM) reaches its exciting finals. On this 8th May at Plaza Shah Alam. Spectacular and colourful costume parades by contestants traditional wear of each state by Jabatan Kesenian Kebudayaan Malaysia, Batik from Istana Batik Plaza Shah Alam and the breathtaking attire designed by Bahari Asyek Plaza Shah Alam.


Held on Mother’s Day, the finals of this pageant are held in conjunction with various activities organised in the month of May where it is all about celebrating women who care and nurture us amid the occasions of Teacher’s Day and Nurse’s Day as well. This significant event which is in its third successive year, is a competition amongst Malay women who are out to prove that they are the ultimate Malay woman living and succeeding as a professional in the modern era while still holding on to her traditions and cultural roots.

The contestants of Pencarian Wanita Melayu come from different states in Malaysia and from various professions and interesting backgrounds, some are doctors, medical students, aeronautical engineering students and even a mother of 4 children.

“This year, we received an overwhelming response with contestants from different varies of life and states participating in our quest to find the ultimate Malay women,” said Puan Azura Mokhtar, Senior Centre Manager of Plaza Shah Alam.

“The finale today will comprise our Top Ten (10) Finalists showcasing beautiful traditional wears by our sponsors as well as representing the uniqueness of the different states in Malaysia with the evening ending with us crowning our Top Three (3) winners as well as Miss Photogenic and Miss Personality,” she added.

The finalists showcasing the stylish watches from Ice Watch, one of the sponsors of Pencarian Wanita Melayu 2016.

The judges at the pageant include celebrity judges Vanida Imran & Dynas Mokhtar. The exciting finale will feature a spectacular costume parade by the contestants which includes Batik and traditional wear of each State by Jabatan Kebudayaaan Kesenian Malaysia and Traditional Wear by Bahari Asyek. In conjunction with Mother’s Day, mothers of the contestants will be giving away prizes to the top 3 winners of Pencarian Wanita Melayu 2016, including two other titles of Miss Photogenic and Miss Personality.

This competition has managed to attract reputable sponsors such as Habib Jewel, Ice Watch, Concorde Hotel, BTL Aesthetics Malaysia and many more. Other partners included Bahari Asyek, Istana Batik, Asyira Kaseh, Butik Eastern Creation and d’Qapas Boutique who sponsored all the outfits worn by finalists today as well as the outfits styled for the judges.

Pencarian Wanita Melayu has been successfully organised by Plaza Shah Alam for the past two consecutive years. The idea of the competition was thought up by the Board of Directors as a way to promote the image of a traditional Malay woman holding on to her roots while facing the modern world and still succeeding in what she does.

Plaza Shah Alam is working closely with YannRifft Resources to help manage the event. The close work relationship is the reason Pencarian Wanita Melayu is the biggest Malay pageant in Malaysia and has been successful for the past two years.

Spirit of WIPRO Run @Kompleks Sukan Negara Shah Alam


Last Sunday morning, I attended the Spirit of WIPRO Run at Kompleks Sukan Negara Shah Alam. 
It was the 10th year anniversary for the Spirit of Wipro Run, which started in July 2006 and has since been a global annual effort. Every year, the Wipro employees and extended community around the world participate in Spirit of Wipro Run as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. 

3,200 runners from the WIPRO's community in Malaysia together with their family and friends participated in the run this year.
The objective of the "Spirif of WIPRO Run" is to create a platform that would bring together employees, families, customers and senior leaders across all divisions to fulfill the organization's goals. The goals are to create an entity where Wipro's diverse ecosystem grows united and believes they are all in it for the long run, to engage employees keep in mind their passion for health and fitness besides inculcating the culture of giving back to the society among the employees.

"Spirit of WIPRO Run" is part of WIPRO Cares, a corporate social responsibility program which focuses on contributing to the society by catalyzing systematic improvement in education and to the local communities where WIPRO operates in.

Wipro Cares is globally active in 3 charity categories which are Community, Education and Ecology.
Funds collected from the annual run are topped up dollar to dollar by Wipro.

Fitness First kick started at cool morning with some warp up exercises to get the participants ready for their run. At 7.30 am sharp, the participants were flagged off by Mr. Krishnamurthy Sriram.

There three categories available for the Spirit of Wipro Run were the
7km Men Open Category for ages 12 and above, 7km Women Open Category for ages 12 and above and a 3km Fun Run which was for families with young children below the age of 12 as well as the senior veterans for those aged 50 and above. 

The Top 3 runners for each of the category received winner's medal. In addition, all participants received a goodies bag and a t-shrit from Wipro while those who completed the 7km category run received a finisher medal.

Fun games awaiting everyone to take part. Total of 5 games on the day.

Fun for the kids to play, throw the ball to hit the bacteria. If able to hit 4 balls, will win the water gun.

i-City, Giant Ferry Wheel, Jungle Adventure and more

Yesterday son and I were early arrived in i-city so we decided to go Giant Ferry Wheel as he wanted to ride.

Each person RM10 for the ride, a mommy with the above cards sold me RM10 for two cards. As her family didn't want to ride, they are afraid of height. This mean I only pay RM10 for son and myself to sit Giant Ferry Wheel.

In Itsy Bitsy, you can find the Rocking Chaise Car, it's RM10 per car (2 person max)

Rules and Regulations
Child below 90 cm is prohibited.
Child aged 3 to 12 year old must have an adult accompany.
Duration is 5 minutes.
Strictly prohibited from crashing into any object, or pedestrian on street.
Follow all instructions given by the ride operator and display your i-Card for admission.

I lost my camera somewhere in i-City, careless me didn't put in the bag but pocket. It must have slip out in the dark while I was enjoying the ride. The camera and camera pouch also black in color.
